Robert M. Sanger was paid $ 85,000 to defend me on a charge of which I was innocent. Then he demanded more money. When I could not pay, he gave the judge a jury instruction to convict me which was a wrong jury instruction. I found his memo to his staff telling them to do no work on my case. My friend who watched the trial said he made a terrible impression on the jury as he fumbled around for papers and did not act like a trial lawyer.
