DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER! CHARGES THROUGH THE ROOF! He really didn't do anything for me and my case. I wanted to use him because he is a member of Collaborative Practice of Manitoba. I really just wanted to settle my divorce collaboratively with the other party. But Richard just wants to go to court. He likes the fight. Now I've spend over $30,000 and I feel nothing has been settled. This guy will take your money and keep the fight going. BEWARE!

I am going to forward his bills to my ex-wife. Instead of defending my interests against aggressive and lies-creating ladies he just agrees with all BS they spill on my head. Convinced me to get into the trap I was suspecting and resisting and now does nothing to get me out of there. Waist of time and money this guy.

What a waste of time this guy was. Kept billing me to read the multiple emails I was sending but wasn't doing what I was asking him to do and wasn't responding to anything. Didn't even provide the opposing counsel with the information I provided him about moving to a new city! When my case got nasty, he became completely useless and actually told me that he was looking at this from my ex's point of view because something like this could happen to him one day. FYI, my ex put me and my kids on the street. I also felt like he was a complete waste of $1000 to take to a case conference where he didn't say more than 10 words. This cheap lawyer will get you exactly what you pay for, crappy results.

If you want to waste your time money and add frustration to a complicated process.....hire this guy! After my "collaborative" process I wound up hiring a real lawyer. During my collaborative meetings he did not speak in my behalf in any manner so essentially I paid him to hold a chair down. He's quick to respond to email and will reply to just say hi, and then charge for each email. He's in this for money and ego. In no way would I suggest Richard in anything related to family court. Unprofessional, uneducated, under motivated, and insincere.

Richard is an excellent lawyer. He makes you feel like you are his only client and that he actually cares what happens with you. He is so quick with responding and so quick with getting anything done that you need. He talks to you in a language that you can understand and is never too busy to help you. He is excellent!! Also VERY handsome!
