I truly can't believe the poor ratings that Malcolm has received in the past, with my ex and I deciding to use Blue Water Mediation (Malcolm's new company) for our mediation. Malcolm is extremely knowledgeable and helped immensely in us navigating through some of the challenging and contentious issues associated with our separation (e.g. custody and access of children, term of spousal/child support, and even how to deal with smaller issues such as Airmiles accumulation). His communication skills were an asset and he was able to bring complex aspects of the financial breakdown to the level where it was easy to understand. We both agreed that his mediation process was of high value and extremely cost effective compared to obtaining separate lawyers and deviating from mediation route. The end result was fair and defensible. I could not praise him enough for the job he did.

I would agree with everything that has been said so far. Tried to charge over $20,000 for preparation and half day mediation. Settled for far less! Exemplifies what is wrong with family law!!
