I do not agree with these ratings. In fact I was so blindsided by my original attorney Jake Fischer who didn't even bother completing my divorce paperwork I ended up referred over to William Ebert becuase I had to take the ex back to court over Jake's incompetence that yes it cost me money but was well worth it for the sake of my child. Bill always was direct, honest & told me point blank if I could do something myself to save me the money of spending it on him. This attorney fights for what is right for the children & won't pull punches in telling you what his experience has led him to know. If that is overspending than I say well worth the money as my first attorney charged the same & quite obviously did not have the competency or experience in law to take care of matters correctly the first time.

I, too, was grossly overcharged in a divorce action where billings racked up and he did everything to avoid trial! I paid $26,000 and he sued me for another $8,500, refusing, absolutely refusing to take any responsibility for overbilling. I have two children and the assets I walked away with were $80k equity in the house, a 2004 Honda Pilot and $5k. He in no way looked out for my family's interest--only his. Thousands of dollars into representation I was being charged for HIM seeking general divorce law advice from other attorneys. I challenged the $8,500 but lost as the contract he has you sign requires specific objections be raised 20 days after the billing statement is received or you waive your objection. I reviewed my statements and found gross over billing. He is arrogant, lacks integrity and bullies you at a vulnerable time in your life. Beware.

This attorney represented a friend in a divorce and advised him to do things that were clearly not in his best interest and charged him well over 13000 in a case were there were no children involved, no equitable gain in property, and all property involved was premarital property.. Each phone call, letter, fax he sent was charged an astronomical fee..........

Did not have a very good understanding of my most important items as a client.Never fought for reduction in support even though I have my kids 6/14 nights. Expensive. $12,000 later I am worse of then before.

This man set my X wife up for life. He put me in financal RUIN!!! He cost me over $190,000.00 His fee was $12,000.00 for ruining my life.
