If you are the person to receive child support, DO NOT intend to register with Child Support Recalculation Program. This program is designed to help payor avoid to pay proper child support amount. They allow the payor to use the year before last year income tax return to recalculate current year's child support. for example, in 2017, they could use 2015 income to calculate child support if the payor claimed not to receive 2016 NOA. And they only recalculate based on annual date of court orde. If your original order is granted in December, they will recalculate child support in December by using previous year's income. in this case, you will receive child support in 2018 based on payor's 2016 income. Payors will pay much less than the proper table amount. But if payors' income decrease, they can put application in court to reduce the amount immediately. Sucks.

It is clear that Lindsay has done her own reviews here to try and give herself a good rating. Please STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS LAWYER AND JONES LAW. Please don't make the same mistake I did and am almost bankrupt. They did NOTHING for me except bill me constantly. I was with them for 5 months and my bill was over &70,000 and we never went to court or even had questioning or met with OC. I am in the exact same position I was when I first retained them. I was so worried about my ex ripping me off, I never thought in a million years it would be my divorce lawyer. Lindsay will pass you off to her Lacky Emily Varga who hasn't a clue what she is doing and will just bill non stop too. I wish someone had warned me. It's bad enough to go through a divorce but to loose all your money to a firm like this is devastating. Please stay away. Do your DD. I didn't clearly and will be paying the rest of my life. I will be reporting them!! STAY AWAY

I retained Lindsay to draft a last minute prenuptial agreement. She was very accommodating to my impending deadline and we were able to quickly and efficiently execute the agreement in a timely manner. I felt that she really had my best interests with the legal advice she provided me. I've recommended Lindsay to a couple of people and I will continue to do so!

Lindsay was professional, knowledgable and respectful. In spite of an office move during my proceedings, she remained on top of the case and didn't drop the ball. She ensured that matters were tied up in the least amount of time and at a price I could afford. Highly recommended.

Lindsay was very knowledgeable handling all aspects of my divorce. Communication could have been better as I would have liked to have been kept more informed regarding the opposing counsel correspondence. I felt that Lindsay had my best interests in mind at all times, just wish things could have moved quicker. This was my first experience utilizing a lawyer for divorce and felt that the charges were higher then expected for this type of proceeding.

I was very pleased with the work that Lindsay did for me. She was to the point, knowledgeable, and readily available to answer my questions. She and her staff were able to work with some very tight timelines and answer some very hard questions for me. What I appreciated the most about Lindsay was her desire to get my divorce proceedings done as quickly, as painlessly, and as financially responsibly as possible. She did not prolong proceedings, and did not promise things that she could not deliver. She was blunt with what I could and could not get, even when that bluntness was painful and worked against me because of the law, so that I knew exactly what I was going into and what I was dealing with before I made any decisions. I do not live in Calgary, so much of the work had to be done remotely. She was willing to help me and work with me even when I was 200km away. I would highly recommend Lindsay for anyone who needs legal assistance in the area of Family Law.

Lyndsey is a wonderful person. She is a very busy lawyer and at times I felt I needed more guidance on where to go and what to do with divorce options and writing a separation agreement. Other than that she had a great knowledge base on the whole.

She is able to inform you of lots of possibility's and the best plan in moving forward. She listens well to what you are saying and guides you to the best out come. divorce can be ugly but with Lindsay on your side she assist it in a positive direction. I also had her assist in my will and Business. I feel she is a positive influence in a negative or seaming to be negative situation at the time. I feel she will save you money in the long run. divorce is not black and white but shades of grey. trust in her and I believe 100% things will work out for the best.

I found her to be very arugementative and does not represent in your best interest. You need to record your conversation with her as it somehow gets misconstrued and your back aruging 'who said what'. You need to be extremely clear on your instructions and intent with her, so it could get executed correctly.
