Horrible experience with an unprofessional lawyer. On my first visit, I tried to overlook the 'office', a box of barbies on the floor, framed quotes about love, lots of frills and fake plants. It didn't quite give off the impression of a serious law office. Quite unprofessional. She is cold, untimely and non-responsive. She accepts legal aid, but DO NOT expect much from her. If you go to her from legal aid, be prepared: She will not call you to confirm any of her work. She will not give you a copy of what's been done. She will not respond to your calls or messages. And if you do want to get some feedback you'll have to go to the barreau where they will tell you that she will not do any of the above because she states it's not in her mandate. Apparently, the common curtesy to replying to phone call has something to do with the mandate. Avoid the frustration, get a lawyer who will actually communicate with their clients.
