I contacted Brian when I found myself facing felony charges in 2012. He immediately made me feel comfortable, laid out the best/worst case scenario for my case and proceeded to keep me in the loop throughout the process. The results were truly miraculous, no prison time, no house arrest, no community service and charges reduced upon payment of restitution. I would recommend him to anyone facing criminal charges. He has a great sense of humor, treats you as a person, not a criminal.

Brian Gurwitz is not only a fantastic attorney, but an incredible human being.
When I first met Brian I was facing some pretty hefty misdemeanors/possible felonies myself. I was 22 years old and without tons of money and scared out of my mind since I had not been in any sort of major legal trouble before. I also come from a less fortunate single family household where money is not readily available to say the least.
Long story short, Brian took all of this into consideration and was willing to work with my budget. He not only cared about me and how he could help me, but also took a personal interest in who I am as a person. I was truly touched by his act of compassion for me and his willingness to help me.
He ended up working out a deal with the DA to get all of the charges against me dismissed.
I am forever thankful to Brian and consider him a true friend since he really didn't have to do what he did for me.

This man without a doubt is worth his fee. He isn’t just a lawyer collecting a fee, making phone calls & pushing paperwork, he is a humanitarian & passionate about his clients’ well being. He was there in my time of crisis, giving me hope, calling me just to see how I was doing, genuinely showing concern & care. He really looks out for the best interest of his client as a person, NOT as a dollar sign.
When I hired Brian I was facing two violent felonies & one misdemeanor. With his direction & counsel, I enrolled & completed all the suggested programs. He communicated with the DA my progress to show them that I was NOT a danger. I was remorseful & sought guidance & counseling resources change my life & corrected my addictive behavior. Where can I start? Brian literally saved my life. A mistake I made could have cost me my career, my home, and my freedom. After my incident, I placed calls to a few attorneys and left messages. Brian went out of his way to follow up with me on a Saturday afternoon having never spoken to me before. He took time out of his Saturday for a young guy who was endlessly worried about his future. I am very pleased and satisfied that I followed the advice of my trusted friend in getting Mr. Brian Gurwitz to represent me. The first day that I met with Brian, he spent a great deal of time explaining the legal process and going over the details of my case. I had never had to hire a criminal defense attorney in my life, and to say I was frightened, would be an understatement. My career, family and life as I knew it, was on the line! After reading all the wonderful and accurate comments about Brian, I am not sure what else I can add. I came to Brian with a tough case, one that might land me in jail have never been arrested before let alone be charge with a crime. Brian approached my situation with the same calm demeanor that he seems to approach all his cases with and was able to ensure I stayed out of jail, kept my job, home and dogs. I still have some Community Service to perform but I will take that over the alternative any day. I would recommend Brian to my friends and family as someone I can trust. What more can one say than that?

A very close friend passed away suddenly, and unfortuantely, her estranged/dysfunctional family initiated a full blown criminal investigation focusing on me as the primary suspect. Brian's past experience as a high-profile district attorney was exactly what I was looking for in a defense attorney so I could better understand how the system worked and what the detectives would need in terms of providing them with information and evidence to reach a fair/impartial and final assesment for the cause of death. Brian was incredibly intuitive and walked me calmly through the process. More importantly, Brian had the resources to retrieve erased video from a camera that turned out to be key. If you are looking for a fair and honest criminal attorney, you can't miss with Brian. I hope to God I never need to be represented again, but if I do, Brian will be the first person I call (and yes, believe it or not, he made himself available on evenings and weekends for phone conversations and updates!).

Sometimes, though, bad things really do happen to good people, and Brian understood this. In Brian’s capable hands, suddenly there was hope. I had never been so scared in my life, and he was a comfort not only in word, but in deed. His astounding aggregate of erudition and perseverance brought about a result far more favorable than I had hoped for. Because he communicated with me regularly and with a compassion I had not experienced during my search for legal representation, I no longer felt alone. Moreover, I paid no extra for such sympathy. Where do i begin? I can't say enough about Brian and his commitment to me as a client. I had a serious problem after I passed out behind the wheel of my car and hit two parked vehicles. I was arrested on charges of dui and hit and run. Very serious charges and was facing certain jail time. I was referred by a friend who had an excellent experience with BrIAN. I immediately could tell that he truely carried about me and what the out come of my case was. Not just from the perspective of the results but more about my well being and seeing me through the entire process. Brians fee was reasonable and quite frankly less than other attorney's I had met with. More importantly Brian had been a DA for many years and his knowledge and experience OF the da's office and the judges proved to be invaluable in having the hit and run charges dismissed entirely. Later I screwed up and didn't complete a portion of my program and brian stepped in kept me out of jail! YOU NEED BRIAN AS YOUR ATTORNEY!

He conviced me that I am in danger(that my case is such a big deal)and ask me for $2000 in advanced ( I cryed and aske for bargain ) he said okay give me $1500 but if I went to court for you give me the $500 on that time and made me to signe a contract by scaring me about my case, to give him 2500 if he has to defend me in court .H maid only one phone call to police to let them know he is representing me and when I got the letter from court and called him to get my file from court ,he said you should pay me the full amount if you want me to go get your file when I said to him what was the $1500 ,I paid you for He start talking so nasty and hang up on me . The other attorny I got said your case is the easiest case and you don't even have to be in court and for all duration of case He charged me $1500 so Mr Gurwitz in my oponian has acted like a big criminal himself He is nightmeare
