Heather did a wonderful job representing me in my divorce. I would recommend her to anyone getting a complected divorce. She is very knowledgeable. Well worth the expense She did wonders for me

I can adhere to each of the comments. Heather was our separation lawyer and, even if we were in full agreement from before we spoke with her, it was a never-ending painful process (I counted approx. 75 emails back and forth) for something that shouldn't have been (as I had a draft already written that my ex-partner agreed on).On top of this, Heather was rude and failed to respond in the most important moments. We were waiting for over 20 days for a response, and got none, just the invoice.

I thought in the beginning, some of the unresponsiveness was par for the course. Lawyers are naturally busy, but over time realized that Heather was taking advantage of me and my patience. I initially called her on responding to e-mails and thought I had reset expectations only to have it start happening soon again. Heather is the master of excuses. Whether she is in court, or whether there was an emergency on another file, or sometimes it was a personal issue I quickly realized that it was all BS. That no one could encounter that many issues in their work/ personal life without the root cause being her unprofessionalism. At the end of it all I ended up complaining to the point where she stopped billing my file, but that didn't help either because she just ended up not responding to twice as many things. Overall, unorganized, unresponsive, taking no responsibility for her actions. Overcharges and has little/ no value. Do not hire Heather.

Do not waste your time hiring this lawyer. Billing is outrageous. She does not pay attention to detail. She is unprepared for mediation and court. She drops the ball repeatedly. She will berate you when you question why she is failing to meet deadlines - when in actuality she is at fault. She fails to send correspondence from the opposing lawyer in a timely manner. She is overly self confident but when push comes to shove she will let you down. Always preparing the night before. Fails to prepare her client for mediation or court. Says she is an accountant first but never produces an excel spreadsheet or gives you a realist expectation of costs or what you might pay the other side. Its been a nightmare for several years and then she goes quiet and ignores your requests for action. RUN away as fast as you can unless you like stress. She doesn't realize that she is working for you and will cause you years of stress and upheaval due to her lack of work ethic.

Outrageous legal fees for the little progress that was made,unless your a millionaire stay away,very high adminstrative fees,let alone the frustration of never hearing from them,only via email,or your monthly billing from them via email.

No respect for her clients (my) interest. After telling me there was a legal concern with my prenup holding up - she was unable or unwilling to tell me what the problem was, and after 3 months of repeated requests for clarification, she would not answer me once. She also billed me for hours while the was setting up her own firm and I even received a bill from her new firm when I had no work done or contract with that firm. No accountability or visibility for her work. I ended up changing lawyers and there was no issue with the prenup. I would show up for a meeting with her and she would have no idea about the details of my file or even where my file was. She knows how to deliver the naughtiness of deception!

Very disappointing experience. On many occasions Heather stood me up for scheduled meetings. She also was very slow to respond to messages left, taking more than a week to return phone calls at times. She was ineffective and inefficient. I paid several thousand dollars for her to read and send emails and we did not even reach a settlement. She bills excessively and when I questioned her regarding my bill she became hostile and defensive and told me she resented my insinuations. She billed me $50 to listen to a 30 second voicemail requesting she call me. She then also billed me for the phone call. She billed me 15 min to read a one sentence email. Unless you have very deep pockets and are not in any hurry, I would not retain this lawyer. There are better lawyers that would cost you less.

Heather handled my divorce and was careful to make sure that we were only doing work that was useful. She had no interest in padding my file. She was quick, our separation and divorce was clean, and no drama. I've recommended her to a number of friends.

She is the worst lawyer ever!!! She somehow managed to negotiate for less than what my ex and I had originally agreed upon and lost everything that we were wanting to split. Really? How does a lawyer screw things up that bad? She charged thousands of dollars, showed up late, sat at the hearing and said nothing. Chit chatted with other lawyer on my time and charged me! If you have children stay far away, she has no sense of what is best or reasonable for children and parenting. She came up with ideas that no reasonable responsable parent would ever subject their children to. She will take your money and leave you as angry as I am!!! Grrrrr

Be prepared to have very deep pockets, be prepared to pay for three other assistants doing all of her work while she sits back double billing for all of this time.Truth be known she is very effective at invoicing just to bad her results are not as effective as her collecting for services rendered.For the men out there in bad shape all ready over your situation be prepared to be in much worse shape once this lawyer finishes with you.From the numerous other coments already posted sounds like I'm not the first person that got run thru the ringers.SO when she gives you her hourly rate just ask how much on top of this can you expect from 3 others learning on your hard earned dollar how to present your case.be prepared to constently educate these people because they seem to forget what you paid them to know a week ago.My advise shop around for a person not sitting in such a fancy office playing the big shot looking for all the oil tycons that don't exist.

My ex hired this lawyer and she has filed numerous useless applications for the same issues has rj lawyers in the firm do work for her and then they charge for everything and everyone who even looks at the file!! Have cost me thousands of dollars on the other side fighting all the pointless applications that are being filed just to delay things and not get anywhere! At one court appearance I think there were more lawyers and people in court representing him than were left in the office, she is wasting away OUR JOINT MATRIMONIAL ASSETS. Hopefully he eventually sees how useless she is!

I met her and she said all these promising ideas and seemed very confident. I retained her and she has not follow through with what she said, only continue to bill me. I'm very disappointed
