Worse lawyer ever. She never took on any probono cases nor did she ever accept legal aid. She has a very low self esteem and tried exert for masculinity on me. I corrected her several times on numerous on family law and she got offended. She told me to find a male lawyer and she was going to do it her way, she’s not looking to win anything and just looking to progress her career. She did not care about my family nor my children. She told me usually the mothers get custody and for me to find someone else because it will be her way. She’s very aggressive, not confident and very selfish, only looking for peoples money and does not care about anything else but to fill her pockets with peoples hard earned monies. Tell her to get a life, she’s an angry person as she is very lonely and has nothing and no one. Poor lady, has to take it out on her clients.

Valerie's performance over all is very poor. In my opinion Valerie's main concern is Valerie, not you or your family or your concerns. Unfortunately I realized this too late however once I did I fired Valerie immediately. I hired a new, competent lawyer to handle my case, upon reviewing my entire case file the very first comment my new lawyer made was "this case should have been resolved and closed 2 years ago!". Tells you all you need to know about Valerie. Literally close to 3 years and tens of thousands of dollars have been wasted. Please do your homework if you are in an unfortunate situation in which you require a lawyer. Hopefully educating yourself will help you to avoid hiring a Valerie Brown or anyone like her.

Valerie is not taking the time to explain processes and procedures to her clients right from the minute you start talking with her. She is not open to the client questioning her as she never responds. She does not respond to phone calls no matter what the situation is. She also barely reponds to questions via email and of course you cannot get her by phone. It is my opinion that she values the dollar more than her client and their situation. It is unfortunate that lawyers are allowed to take advantage at human beings when they are at their lowest point in life (going through divorces) or other legal proceedings. It is shameful. Doesnt take the time with the client but demands to be paid for very little work done. I wish the Law Society pays more attention to how the lawyers are taking advantage of their clients. Never would recommend Valerie Brown to anyone. DO NOT CALL NOR GO TO HER OFFICE.

My only real negative would have been the support staff lack of follow up. I had to stay on top of each step to ensure it was handled in a timely manner, but Valarie was fine to deal with and I got the end results I was looking for. She's been my lawyer for over 10 years, multiple court cases and a positive outcome every time.

She has a low self esteem and makes everyone's life a living hell because of her insecurities. All she wants is money and will not do anything for you. She will ruin your life, and your family. Do not enter into her office.

she really screwed up my divorce and cost me everything, don't even have visitation with my son. Most useless lawyer who even had the never to take me to collections for unpaid fees. I fired her on the spot in the court room.

Lack of communication, she doesn't take the time to educate her clients as to how the court system "really" works...$$$. Very unsatisfied to say it nicely.

She tried hard to push my ex and I into court. Luckily my ex was patient, and we talked it through without her help. I would avoid her.
