Margaret Stanard represented my wife in my divorce, and pulled out stolen documents from my business. These documents where associated with my clients and protected by the privacy act. Said documents where used against me in a deposition!! NO ETHICS!

Ms. Stanard is very knowledgable about divorce law, however, this does not seem to be an advantage to her clients. She persues emotional issues (which is difficult for a client that is already emotionally distressed) in order to increase billable hours. After spending an enormous amount of money and time I realised that I had come out of my divorce with what was a pretty standard agreement, which without all her unescesary tactics would have cost me probaly 1/4 of what I ended up paying. I was told by a clevland court judge that this is her style with many clients.

Her tactics only serve to prolong litigation which can only serve to improve her reimbursement. Attempts to push a position without doing her homework that is rejected by opposing counsel and does not result in anything of merit for her client when she has to settle.Least likely attorney to get to an amicable settlement and wastes everyone's time and money in the process

Suprised to see such unhappy reviews, I had used Margaret in the past and found her to be very reliable and cost effective, the opossing attorney had charged 5 times what Margaret had charged. I had found her very fair and most reliable to handle my case.
