Deborah Matthews is completely unresponsive. She doesn't answer or return phone calls. Does not respond to emails or text messages nor does she respond to my legal counsel. All she does is continue to drain fees off of potential inheritance by dragging things out for as long as possible. She files extensions. There are discrepancies, inconsistencies and errors in her work.It has taken years and our estate is still not closed out.This is the worst lawyer by far I have ever dealt with. You would have to be out of your mind to hire her.

Deborah Matthews provided me with great legal advice and recommendations for my estate planning. She listened to me and helped me hone in on what I wanted to accomplish with my Will and Trust. She is professional and efficient. I highly recommend her.

She responded quickly and saw me right away when I had an urgent need. Everything was completed smoothly and efficiently by the entire office team. They offered full service completion of my estate documents. Ms Matthews rhinks quickly and planned all my documents including communicating rapidly with my other attorneys to make sure that I had all I needed. She was very kind with the fees and understood my problems very well.

Ms. Matthews recently consulted with my 91 year old uncle on his estate plan. I was greatly impressed with her professionalism and efficiency, as well as her interaction with my uncle. She communicated with her client with respect and dignity, actively listening and responding to his requests, questions and summary of his estate. She completed the consultation, and his Durable Power of Attorney and Medical Directive within an hour. I highly recommend Deborah Matthews.

Became totally unresponsive to me, a client, when I wanted her to answer a question that should have been simple for her to answer. She got skittish, acting like I asked her to do something unethical: it was not; I just wanted to know WHAT THE LAW WAS in a particular situation; another lawyer gave me the info with no problem. And the issue made no difference in my situation, anyway. She would not return my calls or emails. My husband died last month, and I called her to help me settle things: she never returned my call and did not send my file to the lawyer I then hired to help me. Who ignores a client whose husband has just died?????
