John Syrtash is a scam. He kept hoarding me to hire him. Unprofessional communication with clients, other party. Does errors in sending wrong emails to unintended people. A $5000 retainer money finishe in 2 letters. When called to talk about, he hang up on me - too bad. Do yourself a service and look for a better lawyer.

His greediness exceeds his professionalism. His only motivation is money and has no conscious for the clients. In the beginning, he allured me with promises and then he just used my emotional state to charge me $23,000 for a case that finalized in 3 months with a temporary result and left me totally broke. A complete FRAUD and extreme GREEDINESS.

Terrible attorney!!! Falsely portrays himself as a child advocate. He totally preys on the victims of child custody and division. My case was an international abduction. My child was taken to Canada from the United States where I had custody. My child was never returned. He financially broke me. He knew exactly what he was doing too. We waited until he knew I had no more money to give him then he asked my to sign away ALL my rights as a mother/parent to my child. Then the courts ordered ME to pay child support,court cost.....None of this should have ever happened. The courts should have had the United States take the court/jurisdiction on my case. That was where the original order was made.

John answers calls and emails promptly. He is professional, respectful and compassionate to his clients. I would recommend John to others.

He didn't listen to me, was rude (made insulting remarks), and did not even keep in touch or follow-through when he said he would. Charged me $3000 to put together paperwork that I did not need for my supposedly-simple separation agreement. I had to find a different lawyer. Very disappointed.

avoid this lawyer who simply will drain your money until the last dollar. promises what you what you want to hear. check his past work experience and how many law firms he has switched. From downtown Toronto high flier to up town small law firms. watch and review for overbilling . BE AWARE

He is just bad in giving value for your money. He will drain out every bit of it, even when you end up doing the work he should. Even when you call him, he will charge for it no matter whether you want to give him some information or ask him the status.
