Her counsel bankrupted me and we never even went to trial.
I went to Alyssa traumatized and vulnerable, similar to most people seeking a divorce attorney. After 5 long years, I paid her $130,000 and never even went to trial. I was left with no child support from an abusive ex-husband along with shared legal custody. She made countless mistakes on drafts of documents and engaged in an extremely adversarial dialogue with me when corrections needed to be made. I was so worn down and scared throughout the process, that I didn't protect myself against her. I should have switched counsel early on. Hindsight is 20-20. Aside from marrying my ex, hiring her was the biggest mistake of my life.

This woman is currently helping destroy my life. My in-laws are really psychotic people who together form an enmeshed family, with an Oedipus complex between my mother-in-law and brother-in-law. My wife has been manipulated by them ever since we became married and things have grown more difficult over time. We have a 20 month old, as well as my wife is currently 8 mos pregnant. My wife cleared out our child/ emergency savings to give to her after me she had an ultimatum given to her which was to choose between me and her parents. Ever since I have had a nightmare of a life. My wife claimed that this attorney made promises that she had connections in ACS and I can only believe so. ACS has lied about all interactions with me, and now the caseworker says I threatened her which never occurred. I cannot see the birth if my nee son now and have been served with divorce papers. Behind the scenes a lot has happened here to which my wife had no clue. Total character assassination. Please God!

She made me sign a mutual agreement that I agree to give half custody to my ex who is emotionally abusing my time. She completely destroyed my life and especially my innocent son's life. The reason this happened? She was bribed by my ex's attorney in the amount of $10k. Unfortunately, I found out about the mistake I made and about the bribery way to late to sue her for damages. Because of her, I battled for 3 years in court but unfortunately my son still lives with abuse and is there the entire week. I am not the first person she destroyed. She takes bribes and took $18,169 from me in 30 days and that motion was never heard. Please please with all my heart I beg you never go to her or to anyone who works in her office. These "lawyers" belong in jail not in the court room.

I feel some of these reviews are not even written by actual clients, but by people trying to hurt an mazing attorneys reputation. Alyssa Eisner is a beauty on the inside and on the outside, she knows how to advocate for her clients in a way most attorneys can never learn. Overall, great attorney with even greater results!!!!

She charged me $18,169 for 30 DAYS and made me sign a mutual agreement to give half custody of my 3 year old son to the crazy father. Now I am in court for 2.5 years and still cannot get my son back. She made me do many mistakes. She even made me put back $20k cash back to my account by scaring me that if the judge finds out that I have this money then she will take away my son. I HATE her. I lost my son because of her. Stay away from her as far as possible. She will get you into lots of trouble. I couldn't pay her the last $4k and she put a lien on me. May G-D give her what she deserves!

I foolishly trusted this woman. She is not bad she is horrible!! She did zero and I mean ZERO for me. Every time I asked for advice she never gave me a clear answer but gave me a huge attitude when I questioned her. She was the best thing that ever happened to my ex thou!! She pretty much agreed on everything he wanted. And my $10,000 retainer was gone in 2 months!! I'm seriously considering suing this woman for misrepresenting me. Please take my advice and run the other way if you consider hiring her. She claims to be worth $400 an hour but isn't worth minimum wage in my book.

My best advice is to always seek second opinions from another professional.I started out ignorant not fully aware of how horrible and self serving she is.I grew on her and was very lucky to get rid of her before she almost cost me a huge damage.She convinced me to proposed to my soon to be ex to have exclusive ownership to our house, the business that was started after the marriage, fifty 50/50 legal and physical custody, do not pay me child support and most especially to drop the restraining order of extensive physical abuse from him. Luckily they did not accept it on time before i changed my mind.she has no zeal to fight my case and in about 2months of retaining her, she charged me almost the whole first deposit for doing nothing. Didn't show up at the court and had bogus reason of course. The day after i retrieved my file from her, i was notified by her secretary that i had a date at the supreme court already 30mins late and Alyssa was willing to give me a courtesy service.

this attorney was interested in cashing my check more than she was about the safety of my childrens well being and my sanity while dealing with my divorce... maybe it was her Napolean complex seeing as how she is as short as a wizard of oz munchkin
