He is a lair and irresponsible ignorant promising action to catch new clients, for months not returning messages/ emails, dragging cases for years, asking for more money and constantly apologizing for delay. After 4 years of constant excuses,December 2012 he told me that he is ready to proceed with the discoveries and trial. After investing in him $20,000 and over 5 years, I was in no position to look for a new lawyer. Upon request, I paid him additional $9,492 trusting that this time he is serious. May 2013 he said that he needs to submit a motion to court which was originally set for April 2014, and later moved to January 2014. Time have passed and he is not returning my messages, my emails are returned undelivered, his current voice mail office greeting is dated December 27, 2013. When I call or visit his office, he is not there. We need to stop this person from abusing more clients. I am submitting complaint to Law Society, your input will make my case stronger, gduda@outlook.com

He is a horrible lawyer - and I agree with the others, he should be disbarred. Took him months to communicate, led me on to believe he was actually doing something, wanted more money. Do not use Alexander Gillespie at Gillespie Law. Horrible Lawyer. Gillespie Law - is a one man firm and a lair and fraud - "Gillespie Law" Toronto - Horrible Lawyer!

He is a very bad lawyer. Promises no action. He should be disbared or disciplined. He should stop practicing law.

Horrible. I paid him a retainer and he said he would promptly begin work. All he had to do was get an eight page document from my partner's lawyer, read and advise me. It took him nearly 6 weeks for 2.5hrs of work! His website isn't even finished. He does not reply to emails or phone calls and keeps saying he is sorry and will have it done tomorrow. In the end, he didn't even do the updates and submitted something my partner's lawyer couldn't understand... what a waste. Do not hire this person.
