I have used Robert on a number of occasions while purchasing and selling my homes. I have always been impressed with his down to earth nature and willingness to explain everything in simple English. He is thorough, efficient, and goes above and beyond. On one occasion, he even came car side in the middle of winter so my elderly mother wouldn't have to walk up an iced pathway to sign documents. Amazing service. I will be a loyal client for years to come.

I recently used Robert Payne to close my house purchase. Thank goodness, Mr. Payne noticed that the lawyer who acted for the Vendors when they acquired the subject property had at that time completely missed one half of the legal description, including half of the garage located on the property!! As a direct result of Mr. Payne's thoroughness and personal attention to detail, thankfully that mistake by the previous lawyer was caught and fixed, and I ended up owning all of the property I was properly supposed to receive title to. I also appreciated the fact that Mr. Payne always answers the phone himself, and I found him to be both polite and prompt in answering in plain language any and all questions I had throughout the process. His rates were also very reasonable, and I would happily and without reservation recommend Robert Payne Law Office to both family and friends!

I have recommended Robert Payne many many times to my clients. To my knowledge all of them have been very satisfied with his services. He responds to phone calls and questions in a very timely fashion. I will continue to recommend him.

I wish I visited this site before hiring Rob Payne. Hiring Rob Payne ranks amongst the worst decisions of my life. I was attracted by his low fee. But that was a mistake. He was totally unresponsive, unhelpful, and uncaring. He does not offer any valuable advice, nor does he care to. He was shockingly impolite. I've never understood businesses that treat their customer's with disdain. I cannot overstate how disappointing this experience was. Do yourself a favour: hire any other lawyer.

Possibly the rudest professional we have ever encountered. Doesn't listen to clients or agents, makes you redo work that has already been done, and sends emails that would make your hair curl. Yes his rate was very good, but I guess in the end you get what you pay for!!!

I was extremely happy with Robs services in closing my first house purchase. He was very personable easy to communicate with and was very fair with his price. I'll be using him on my next home purchase without a doubt. Highly recommended!!!!
