I called seeking assistance and a break down of what would be involved from an estimated timeline to cost analysis. I was dismissed with names/pre-judgements from a sara peters.No humanity. Stay clear!

Words cannot express how dissatisfied I was with his services. He makes you believe that he will use his so called experience to get a great deal. However in reality he hands the case off to someone else then ignores all your attempte to contact him, then just settles and takes whatever is offered from the defendant employer. When I was told by him it looks best to take whatever the employer is offering and to close the case I asked what about all the things you promised me when we talked before I hired you. Basically I was told I could take the case to trial and pay $20,000 more for trial. After I already paid this hack $11000 just in case filing expenses to basically get the same deal I could have without an attorney there was no way I was going to pay him more. I just wish this prevents someone else from wasting their time and money on a guy that basically just runs a small settlement mill and provides nothing for his clients. Funny thing, his slogan is "Protecting Employee Rights"!

To James why care or work hard for clients' interests when he can play smart? The smart money is to settle early and take his 40% contingency fee cut, shake your hand and call out Next!. I was lured to the trap with his claims that he would fight for my rights like a bulldog etc. but after he locked me in that 40% contingency fee agr. I've been cornered. when I talked to his other clients I found out they went thru the same scenario. It's called the bait & switch. Bait you with all those superlatives that you'll get and once you're hooked, he and his firm will be singing a different tune of early settlement for a pittance and if you don't accept that, then they'll sit on your case for years playing phone and e-mail tag with you. Contingency fee contracts promise a windfall for him if there's a quick settlement or if the case is fairly routine with liability admitted well before the trial date. Once James entered the courtroom, his bogus claims about great achievements just disappeared.

Mr. James J. Peters doesn't return phone calls or emails. Not a talented attorney at all, he settles his cases for less than they are worth and doesn't care about your demands and claims. You will not be able to get hold of him for months, and you will not be able to find a person lazier than him. He is the laziest person I ever met. He has no courage to defend his clients, he misses critical court hearings and is not the most honest attorney in town, he misinformed me deliberatley many times. He was always late for depositions. He forgot my file a few times and had to ask the opposing attorney what he had done last and what should be done next?. He lied to me about the case status becuase there was no actual progress and he had to make up stories to cover-up his failure to accomplish anything for me. I finally settled for a pittance because I couldn't stand dealing with this shyster anymore. Beware, there are much better attorneys out there.
