Jessica is fierce, professional, and fights for you. She will be open and honest, quite blunt, and you have to be ready for that. But she fought for me and for my children, for our rights.

Jessica Cotter is the most professional, knowledgeable and concerned lawyer I have ever dealt with. She handled a case for me concerning my ex-husband and his retirement pay and fulfilled my requests for the case admirably. She heard I was having health problems aggravated by the stress of the case and kept posted as to my status with calls and notes in the mail. I had my doubts as to the outcome of the case but she was sucessful in all aspects I had wanted resolved. I consider her not only my lawyer but a good and concerned friend and will continue to seek her services when a question arises. Her office is always neat, comfortable and pleasant but also very professional in appearance. The staff members, from reception to accounting, are always courteous and competent in answering questions and forwarded messages so I got a timely response. As far as I am concerned, Jessica Cotter is the one to go to for action on any legal concerns that need to be resolved to your satisfaction.

Lost a lot of money with her defending me. I was garnished for over 50% of income, she did not try to fix any support errors as I had asked her to do. I was not allowed to speak with Jessica unless billing received money, they would route my phone calls to billing instead of Jessica. This is not allowed, but they did it anyway. Jessica's office filed for outstanding attorney's fees against. Normally lawyers do not do that. I filed bankruptcy to cancel out this debt. At no point did she finish her obligation on my case. She seemed afraid of the Judge. She was overwhelmed with paperwork and was not organized. She talks up a good story about being highly regarded in the industry, I question that.

very passive, does not want confrontation with opposing counsel,has lost in court to opposing party defending themselves. disorganized, unprepared and late for court. bills client for unecessary costs for duplication of communication by sending same information both via e-mail and hard copy.
