We needed legal advice. We moved to Ontario and had to update our Family Wills and Powers of Attorney etc. Friends advised us to give Deidre a call. Deidre guided us through the legal differences between Provinces and took the time to explain everything. Shortly after this, we suffered the loss of a family member. We turned to Deidre for help and this proved a vey wise move. She helped us get through all the twists and turns of estate settling. Deidre is a very sensitive, competent and knowledgeable lawyer and we would recommend her services wholeheartedly.

We retained this lawyer to assist us with some important personal business. A few of our friends had spoken highly of the quality of her work which we found to be true. It was clear that she knew the law and her guidance was firm and logical. She took time to carefully explain some of the more intricate options which were available to us and helped guide us in the final disposition of family assets. She was thoughtful and sensitive as a person and competent and professional as a lawyer. We were delighted with her service and will seek her help again.

I have used this lawyer for both corporate and personal issues over the last 20 years. Has poor communication skills. She seems to take on more cases than she can handle. Has a good knowledge of the law but is not a great negotiator.

Value depends on whetherwho she's working for...if she's your lawyer...poor value. If she's your ex-spouse's...great value. Not sure if she plays the "innocent dumb, I didn't know" lawyer as she tends to still pull stuff off sometimes even though she shouldn't have.
