Stay away!! We used Abdi because he was cheaper than most other lawyers, worst mistake ever. It ended up costing us over $5000 on the sale of our house because of his incompetence, when he missed the fact that the sellers had removed a repair item from the purchase contract. When I informed them that the seller was saying they weren't going to pay us they started to ignore my calls. I had to contact a manager at the branch to look into it. Months later they contacted me and said they fired a legal assistant for screwing things up, and Abdi had left the company. Convenient!! Never use this guy, it will end up costing you way more than you save in fees. $5500 lesson for me, which I will not forget.

I would recommend staying away. If you're looking for a cheap Lawyer be warn you get what you pay for. He is hard to get a whole of, does not return phone calls or email. I find that he's sloppy and not very informative. I don't know if he knows beyond the piece of paper he reads off. I found out the hard way when I got penalized because he failed to properly do his job.

Mr Abdi M Abdi sold us our first house in January 2012 and we had a very good experience with him and his company. He was knowledgeable about the current market and had excellent tips as we are new to Calgary. He kept us informed and I would recommend him to anyone!

Mr. Abdi M. Abdi took 1 1/2 years to get my RPR to me, he never returned our calls, he was rude, he was late for every appointment, and he failed to review the documents with us accuratly. TERRIBLE.. this man should be working the tills at Wal-mart.. wait I like walmart.. point is he should give up his day job!

Extremely poor lawyer. Difficult to get a hold of, does not return calls, does not acknowledge your requests, perfunctory and borderline competent. Avoid at all costs.
