She is unprofessional. She gets upset if you question her work. Doesn't like to challenge the other lawyer. In my opinion she cared more about my ex than myself. When I confronted her she yelled at me and said that I can go ahead and represent myself, which I did. That was her best advise.

Plain and simple this lawyer failed to represent me based on the instructions I gave her. She is spineless and will not present the truth that is provided to her. She conducts herself in the most unprofessional manner, yelling and screaming in her office and the court house if you question her in any matter. She "isn't my mouthpiece" though that's exactly what I had hired her to be. To tell the courts my story. She tried to quit my case but I fired her first. She insisted I pay her bill in full and took me to assessment where it was reduced by 50% due to the lack of work, representation and success she accomplished on my case. I would not recommend this women as a lawyer to anyone! On another note ... she is suppose to promote mediation but that's the furthest thing from her mind ... that doesn't bring in the money!! Stay far away from her!

Janet works to resolve the issues early on. Her professionalism in court and her calm manner are an asset. She is very upfront on cost and practicality of the situation.

Janet doesn't do what's best for the family, but what her client pays her to do. She has no interest in resolving family issues and encourages using the kids as pawns. If you can pay, she'll take you on and set her ethics aside. She's great to have on your side if your goal is to 'stick it' to him/her and money is no object.

Janet is the third lawyer I have had over the years in family court, and by far the best. This includes going up against some of the other lawyers listed on this website. Thorough, knowledgeable, and never loses site of the impact on the children. Very upfront with her fees and these are detailed in her billings.
