I thought I did my homework. My appointed lawyer left the firm 2 months into it. The firm handed me to another lawyer. That lawyer was ill prepared from the get go. Always sounded tired. In our first call I asked him had he read my file? "No". I could tell. Time was wasted in this transition. Then he entered negotiations with my employer. Had the audacity to say I would be happy with the arrangement. HA! If he had read my file he would have noted he made no ground what so ever. I was at the same place a year prior. I swear he and my employers lawyer were buddies. Pinto Wray James let me down, wasted my money and got NO where. I dissolved my contract and was advised I wouldn't get anywhere. GUESS WHOS going to HRTO mediation? Yep, with 10K less in her pocket. I think they were understaffed and dealing with bigger fish. I was beyond disappointed. Pinto wrote recommendations for the HRTO so you'd expect the firm to stand up, fight for clients? What a complete disaster.

Great of the phone but minimal effective action. Sided with the other party. Overbilling. Did not have my best interest in mind and poor advocate or my rights.

Was great on the phone and appeared to be knowledgeable and agree with goals and points of view. I had to keep tracking him b/c he almost missed deadlines. Did not seem to have read the files , doubted my word and sided with the other side. Overbilling for long conversations but minimal actual action taken. Then closed out case saying we did not have a case based on what the other party's lawyer had said, without looking at the evidences we provided. We felt as if we were talking to the other party's advocate and were being blames for our own troubles.

Terrible customer service towards those in need of help. They robbed me of $600 when they clearly knew I was on a budget. Completely wasted my time and spoke about the same thing over and over to let me know that I will now pay $600 for an hour and a half and being told that I most likely won't make any money from the lawsuit once legal fees are covered. stay away from these lawyers as they aren't there to help you in difficult employment situations

Smart, straightforward, and very effective. He was honest in his dealings with me, and his billings were clearly documented and justified. He did not waste my time. I found his manner pleasant and professional. Never rude, never disrespectful nor condescending. He was highly recommended by a well-respected labour lawyer who could not take my case. The other two comments here bear no resemblance to the person who helped solve a challenging and complex workplace situation.

My experience was not unlike the pervious reviewer. This lawyer is unreal. He is combative and plain rude to his clients. He lacks basic advocacy skills and enjoys agreeing with the other side. His billing is over stated and a complete cash grab. I would have felt less taken if I was robbed. I hope that you do not allow him to take advantage of you. Simply, unbelievable.

This so called lawyer is only out for $. He lies about fees, does not provide adequate follow-up, can not stand up for clients and uses his current clients time to make more $ I.e. takes cell phone calls while in mediation with his clients. Do not use this person for anything. He will rip you off!
