Great dedication and always has my back. Yes, legal fees are never easy to bear but Shayi is well worth it! She was blunt, practical, and made sure I understood every step of the way what was going on, despite the blur and stress that my divorce and ex has caused me. Glad I switched lawyers as I could see the difference in results ASAP!

Amazing lawyer, made my divorce as painless as it could have. She encouraged an amicable settlement despite the high conflict. Her knowledge of financials helped me get what I deserved for support and property, despite my ex trying to hide his income and assets! Shayi was a great lawyer during what was the worst time of my life. She helped me get a multi- million dollar settlement plus support for me and my children when my ex was going to abandon us and threatened us with drag it out litigation. Shayi is not cheap but her many years of family law experience plus her dedication and care towards me made me understand that it would have been way worse if I did not use someone of her stature. She gave me a realistic budget for litigation and she held my hand throughout the divorce, as I needed her as a hero to battle my ex. She got me through it all and did it ethically and professionally. Without her help, I would be homeless and my children would not be able to proceed with their academic plans. I think the negative reviews on here are ridiculous as I have never seen Shayi do anything dishonest, unethical, or unprofessional despite what the other party did.

Shayi was amazing. We went to a Special and she not only got me everything I sought but solicitor client costs to boot. I had to go without child support for 7 years and after switching counsel to Shayi, she got us before the Court, got me the relief I wanted and desperately needed and she did it while helping me cope with my ex's bullying, his counsel's lies and high conflict actions, and I consider her a friend as she truly is my friend now, having helped me so much. I was okay with the costs as quite frankly, you get what you pay for. Shayi was my third lawyer and worth every penny and I would recommend her to everyone in need of a great litigator.

She was unable to find out income information, she communicated to the point of huge bills and embarrassed me with her lack of knowledge when dealing in court or with the other lawyer. I spent a lot of money and actually moved backward using this lawyer. I received nothing of value.

Shayi was my lawyer for two divorces and she saved me so much in legal fees as she expedited all of the issues and forced my exes to resolve everything with me rather than get costs awarded against them in Court. I had lawyers prior to her but she was the one to get the results I wanted in a timely manner.

Ms. Xu is extremely knowledgeable and a fantastic lawyer. Reading previous reviews I find it hard to belive that they hold any truth. Ms. Xu not only help me get primary custody from my husband but she also won costs. Fantastic lawyer and would highly recommend to everyone.

Shayi Xu was my first lawyer. She was dishonest with me and dishonest with the judge and my spouses' lawyer which really hurt my case. I would not use her again. It has taken months and tens of thousands of dollars to fix her screw ups and lies.

Shayi is an agressive but reasonable lawyer. She is pretty blunt but she gets to the point. I would recommend her to anyone who requires someone who is fair and reasonable and works effectively and efficiently to resolve the issues. She always provided the cost benefit and advised me of the pros and cons and risks when giving me advice. Greatly appreciated that analysis.
