Extremely disappointed. He arrived late for my hearing because he got the date wrong. Did not bring paper work which would have allowed me to be released. Asked him to try to get back to court ASAP but he said he didn’t have time. I fired him. His wife (secretary) said they would return some portion of my retainer but they then refused. I paid a lot of money for him to not represent me properly.

Idk where 2 start, he’s prob knowledgeable but we nvr got 2 that point for me 2 be certain.Reno’s very rude & nasty, doesn’t know how to speak to ppl & is very short tempered. He understood that I had no child care for my 2yr daughters so they were wth me. They were quiet on their tablets with hdphnes on, my daughter laughed at something and said “oooh” and he went off. Saying he can’t work wth these kids if they don’t be quiet! Tht I need 2 shut them up! Tht wasn’t even the main prob just the straw tht broke the camels bk. 1000 char aren’t enough for me 2 exp how disrespectful and childish he is & how he doesn’t listen 2 you as a client. He answered the phone & was disrespectful 2 another client while I sat there. Telling him 2 hurry up 2 get 2 the point so he can get off his phone. He was unprofess cursing in front of my children saying my current order was **** etc. when I asked 2b excused from his services he screamed for me 2 hurry n get the hell out his office.RUN! AVOID HIM!

Robert Reno is very good at cross examination. Problem is, he cross examines his own clients. Meetings are unproductive- he doesn't remember basic facts such as names/ages of the children- has to be reminded repeatedly. He doesn't pay attention to information you give him, blows off questions. Read paperwork carefully for mistakes/typos before you sign. You leave his office feeling like his opponent, not his client. Doesn't seem to care about outcome of the case. Hot and cold "moods". Gets annoyed if you show any emotion (what could be more emotional than a divorce or custody battle). Seems knowledgeable but extremely difficult to communicate with. Really, really frustrating experience with this lawyer.
