Unfortunately, I only had the pleasure of encountering Ms. Khanna as a Duty Counsel the day my son decided to give his ex what she wanted. After 2.5 years of fighting he showed up for court for what was supposed to be a Trial Scheduling Conference. He had to fly halfway across the country just to appear in person when they set a date for trial. He felt the whole trip was going to be worth it though as he had tickets to take his daughter to a movie afterwards. Then the applicants lawyer decided to try mediation instead of go to trial. My son had been trying to get them to mediate since the beginning. The mediation took hours of course. He finally agreed to everything just because he didn’t want to have to miss the movie and disappoint his daughter. Since this case started he has dealt with about 30 legal professionals and not one of them, until Ms. Khanna, bothered to ask if he could afford to pay what his ex expected. I wish we had found her sooner.

Ms Khanna failed in every way imagineable to understand or carry out her role as advocate for my elderly mother at a hearing before the Consent & Capacity Board in Ontario in 2009.
Alhtough a trained member of the Legal Aid panel for the Consent and Capacity Board, Ms Khanna disregarded virtually all of the guidelines and instructions provided for her regarding advocacy before the Board.
The Law Society has now determined that Ms Khanna did not understand her role and did not carry out her duties within her role as advocate.
If Ms Khanna had had her way, my mother would have been locked up in an institution against her will unnecessarily for the past two years.
I have nothing good to say about Ms Khanna's capabilities as a lawyer. This was the worst lawyering I have ever encountered and worse than any lawyering I could ever imagine.
I would be more than pleased to explain all of the above in more detail to anyone who is concerned or interested.
