Mr. McCutcheon was thorough, diligent, and courteous throughout my entire legal proceedings. He never over-promised and always delivered fair, consistent results. I was able to trust Mr. McCutcheon easily and felt he was always acting in my best interest. He never took my time, money or sanity for granted during the many years he represented me. I have recommended him to others who have also experienced the same professional results. Mr. McCutcheon has an excellent rapport with his colleagues and the courts. He was willing to go above and beyond to ensure I felt heard and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. His ability to manage my expectations and give me sound advice (even when it wasn't in my favor!) reaffirmed that he is a genuine lawyer and person who cares deeply about those he represents.

After the second visit, I told him my partner had a very good government job and had been there for 17 years. His reply was, it's not worth much maybe $100,000. I thought is this guy for real? Only after I told him my accountant thought it was worth approx. $700,000 did he take me serious. When I mentioned that I thought I was entitled to spousal support because I was the stay home parent for both kids, he replied, " No you won't get anything, you agreed to do it." At that point I knew it was time to go somewhere else.

Anyone that says he is a horrible layer ,blah blah blah your all idiots if you think the legal is just the same as playing the lottery. you are never guaranteed a win. its up to the judge in the end . i have had nothing but the utmost respect and a sense of urgency from Mr Mccutcheon. he has represented my wife and i for 13 years and has always been a saving grace and a fighter for us. you all that rate him as poorly need to learn e how to swallow a bitter pill. the law is far from perfect as we all know.

I found his advice to be timely and helpful. Knowledge of the law was very good. I was able to get the maximum result i could hope for in a difficult separation. His advice kept our approach in line with what the court would likely award. I never felt as if I was being led astray. I found him to be approachable and easy to work with.

Always changing his story by consulting with one direction and then doesnt pull go through. Communication is minimal at best. He cant even remember the basics of my case after being with him for over a year. I didnt have confidence in using him after a year. Use someone else as what others have wrote on here are true about him!! Work quality i find is bare minimal with him at best.

he is out for his own financial rewards with the false promise of his clients promising the highest returns and that he with his connections will get me the highest return. unfortunately I found that he took so long to settle and more time more reviews and this cause my husband lawyer to get frustrated resulting in continuous court litigation..<we were told no court so our children would get our financial assets. court was his full demand and he constantly changed his mind costing us so much more money time and upset hurt.

Extremely arrogant and a compulsive liar. Forget about any hope of attending a Mediation center as a cost effective way of resolving an issue. Unless you are willing to spend thousands of dollars going to trial, do yourself a favour and find yourself a respectful lawyer with an open mind as opposed to an open bank account filled with your wasted legal fees.

Any positive review for him must be from a family member or someone he paid because this is the absolute WORST lawyer around!!! Complete jerk... constant eye rolling and talking down to me me when I had too many questions... never explained anything but charged a FORTUNE in my case... his so-called "negotiating" resulted in me having to pay an outrageous amount of alimony to my ex.... either that or tens of thousands of MORE dollars to be spent in court he told me... I realize now he didn't care at ALL about my situation... please do yourself a favour and run as fast as possible in the opposite direction.... snake! There is a special place in hell for lawyers like this.

Very good experience by myself and 3 referrals. He was through and a judge in the circuit told me he's got a lot of credibility in the courtroom compared to others. He recommended mediation for my former spouse and was fair with billing. I put 1 as the value because all lawyers overcharge and ideally we'd not need them.

This is the lawyer that inspired the Shakespeare quote! One 15 minute visit , very limited advice, and a sheaf of paperwork to fill out and return. Scare tactics used by inferring I would be in for a stiff fight as my partners lawyer was a disagreeable "B"! This in spite of the fact he was told my partner and I were amicable and had agreed on disposition of all issues. After an extended period of not contacting me he had the gall to send me a bill that had no relation to reality. He claimed to have emailed and spoken to me on the phone many times . He had not. At the first meeting during which he filled time by talking about his cheap Porsche he said that he would credit me with the unused portion of the minimum time. He did not. Be warned this is the lawyer you were warned about. He will help himself to your detriment, and your money. You may find most lawyers to be of his ilk, however you have been warned about this one. My notes show all of the above to be the facts and true.

Steven was nothing less than professional, and demonstrated concern for my own personal circumstances. His experience in court was evident. He was a pitbull when needed. I found he also showed compassion for my situation. His fees were more than reasonable.
