Mr Paragas is a liar. He made a mistake and did not confess to my daughter until 5 days later. At that time, we arrived at a settlement amount because of his error. Daughter was to schedule appointment with Paragas secretary to sign settlement agreement. Mr. Paragas then changed all communication to his attorney. Afraid of extortion...HA. I have email sent by Paragas to prove he would agree to a settlement once the paperwork was signed. He is unprofessional, lies, does not prepare client for court, even being late for court. My Paragas has had 2 DUIs, breaking and entering at the Eagle Golf Course Pro Shop and barred from practice for 6 months. Please check reviews and do not hire this attorney. I repeat do not waste your money on Mr. W. Randall Paragas.

I would echo the comments of others and say that he did nothing for my case. He will take your money but will do nothing, not even the bare minimum. Stay away.

THE WORST professional I've ever had a chance to work with in my life! He did NOTHING for the case!
During the 1st mtg he promised to review the recording, work out a deal, said how well connected he is, and how he can choose which 1 of his friends will be the Judge. He said he can "arrange" for the AA meetings to be one of those "Oh, if you can't make it to one, my guy will just write it up as if you were there." (is that even legal?). Finally, he was referring to the "favor basket" he had with the prosecutors. What a joke!
He made promises, yet delivered NONE, except extending the Court date for 6 months. His secretary called the morning of the trial to reschedule.
His fee was 3 times the amount of other attorneys.But, he will NOT do ANYTHING to prepare you for the Court, nor keep you in the loop of what is going on with the case. He was upset if we reached out asking what's happening with the case & implied that we are one of those difficult clients.He was late for the Co

Ya well got 2200 from me and told me I had a iron clad case . But when court came he was late 1 hr and 30 min. Then every time I was called up he was not in the room who knows somewhere more important . Ya never talked about saying guilty but he still entered a guilty plee and I got 30 days served 27 he didnt feel it was his job to count previous days in on same charge . And 18 mths prob. 24 hr community serv. 18 meetings no license for a yr 2 nd dui no evidence passed all test and still . Public def.got me less I should have saved my money he is a fraud I want my money back I still have court with him in jan . Sounds like fun will see if he shows

Paragas was hired by me for my daughter. He assured her she would get probation over and over... and that he was an excellent attorney. At her sentencing as she plead guilty . We were in total shock. What she received was not anything that we were prepared for. The only thing that went as expected was he was paid and he collected.

My DUI case was over 10 years ago, but my opinions reflect those of current clients. I got a 'special' rate because I was a friend of a friend. I was told because of the low BAC (.09)how it was handled and questionable opinions/notes on how it was handled by officers he would get it handled. As court date got closer...called with questions. Never got answers. Then as court date came, got a call to 'review' everything...which was pretty much like starting from scratch, like he hadn't even looked at the police report or anything we discussed before. Show up day of court and all he did was tell me to plead no contest. That was it. No discussion on why or other options. Public defender could have done same, wait, no...a better, job. Stereotypical slick slimeball attorney.

Mr Paragas, for my 2,500.00,and said he was the best DUI lawyer in the state did absolutely nothing for me that a public defender could have done!!! He said he could get it reduced to DUI 1--not,no jail time--not,talk to prosecuter--not,show up to court 1/2hr. late--yes. A lot of show and blow,but not worth 2,500.00 dollars!!!

I had gotten into some trouble with an ex-girlfriend and my previous attorney made it a mess. Randy was very patient and worked very hard in fixing everything for me. I found him to be the best attorney I could have hired for what I needed. He was well worth every dollar I spent on him. I have also given 3 of my friends Randy's name and number when they had gotten into trouble and all of them have been very happy with what Randy has been able to do for them.

He set my expectations too high to only get jail time and years of probation for a measly charge. I had a payment plan and his "secretary" Nora constantly was unavailable and "forgot" to run my card for payments so I was almost sent to collections. Randy was better than Nora, Nora needs to be fired for constantly being on Facebook and not doing her job. Randy could have communicated better and prepared me for my jail time, fines (which emptied my bank account), and my awful time on probation. Then, when being treated poorly and unfair by my probation officer, he did not return my phone call. Not once. Only time he called was to tell me I may be sent to collections. Does not return phone calls, is in it for the money.
