Ho'okano scammed us out of over a quarter million dollars. He deliberately sabotaged our trial so he could take the case on appeal and make over a hundred thousand dollars on that. He never once discussed our testimony with us, so we did badly on the stand. He refused to dispute the lies their witnesses told. He refused to subpoena witnesses, and got one guy whose testimony amounted to heresay. He told the jury we wanted over $700,000 in non-punitive damages, which turned the jury against us. He forced us to tolerate an arrogant 'expert witness', then told us not to be in the courtroom when he testified. We found out why when we got a copy of the court transcript. That witness sabotaged us because he wanted to work for the insurance company we were suing, and his office had contacted them twice before the trial. We lost the trial, and found out later from other attorneys that Ho'okano has a history of scamming his clients. The D.A. has refused to even investigate Ho'okano.
