Does not return calls or emails does not do the job and doesn't really care. When you complain to his assistant she says she is overworked and has no help. Maybe too busy with his political aspirations to bother with his job. The politics has no cash in it yet so he has to have a job albeit one he doesn't seem to be interested in. Spend your money on a more involved lawyer who is timely and cares about his or her client and their own reputation.

In my dealings with Len, I found him to be arrogant, inconsiderate and not very helpful. His word is worth nothing. He very rarely returns calls. On many occasions said he sent the cheque he had in trust when in fact he never did. He said he sent it on Friday when I finally received the cheque, it was postmarked for the following Tuesday. Do not waste your money on this lawyer or his firm

Have used Len for real estate transactions and our wills. No problems with him, his assistant or the work.

Divorce 28 yrs,wanted what was legally mine nothing more,let's just say ex got just about everything,didn't even get personal belongings or inherited belongings,he said not fighting over lawn furniture,I put my trust in him and got barely anything as what I requested,what was so simple he didn't even try,still trying to survive and get past this,I wish he could see what he has done to my life,what a joke he is,no compassion,ignores what u say,passes things before you even know he has settled and questions you ask can't get clear answers,please reconsider before hiring or if legal aid sets u up ask for someone else ??

I have given Len Thom a rating of bad on all counts. In my dealings with Len I found him to be unavailable many times when I requested information. I sent emails, phone calls, and did not receive any response back. The most time I spent with Len was at the courthouse where, during discussions with the opposing lawyer, he abandoned me in the courthouse not telling me that he was leaving, nor what the status of my file was, final bill totaled over $3000.00 for services rendered. I did not feel that Len spent the appropriate amount of time with me his client. The only person at his offices that was helpful was the kind receptionist. Everyone else I dealt with was quite, rude and did not explain any part of the process unless I asked, and even at that I did not receive all the information I had asked for. When the judgement was actually received it was so far off from where we started. I would recommend staying FAR FAR away from Len, so as to not have this happen to anyone else! Beware.

Laziest lawyer I've ever met in my LIFE!Did nothing on my file and still had the audacity to ask for more money! He is NOT a good lawyer, talks a good game but nothing gets done with him he's useless don't waste your money look elsewhere

TERRIBLE BANG for your buck. My first experience with a lawyer, absolutley extrememly expensive and horrible. Took months upon months for follow up from assistant and Len Thom. Apparently hes a conservative candidate... god I hope he does not win. Waiting to win 50/50 custody of my daughter... decided to go the route alone as his services were so sub par, it was hilarious. Didnt even know my name, couldnt even get my name right on legal documents. Terrible service, took forever to act... like 1.5 years. plus. Simply looking for 50/50 custody. Started bashing other fathers hes represented in the court room during court. So unprofessional. Wish I could of had a free lawyer, that one was much more put together. DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER. WASTE OF MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF MONEY. TERRIBLE CONSERVATIVE MALE ATTITUDE.

Very unprofessional, lack of timely responses, no urgency in their tone and demeanor. Assistant cranky and unhelpful, they obviously know about buying and selling a house but werent willing to help. Never again.

I've had loss because of Len Thom's Slow, Incorrect, Horrible, Irresponsible and Ignoring services. It made me totally disappointed by this Old Strascona Election candidate. His promise to his client never come along with action, his assistant is picking up the phone call always with exhausted or angry tones. The fatal thing is that Len Thom and his assistant never say sorry for their mistakes and horrible service. What they always say is that "I've dealt with this issue for more than 15 years and nobody complained about it.". But I would like to ask them these 15 people's reviews.

He did not argue on my behalf for anything. Completely useless. Never calls back had the other lawyer write the order it was wrong and he signed it without consulting me. What a waste of time and money. To else where

After requesting him to file a Parenting application for my children due to the neglect my ex wife was causing to the home and having the children live in (Animal feces, garbage, etc), I was told to wait till she moved out of the house & that after I moved back into the house and cleaned/repaired it into a suitable living condition, he would then file the application. He filed them, but failed to provide my reasons of why I would be the better parent, stating "I assume the Judge would see that the applying parent would be the better parent" He then showed up to our court date 2 mins before Court started, argued wrong information (forgot that I have 3 kids not 2!) and then when the judge ruled in the other sides favor, he just agreed to everything else the other side requested to the Judge, causing me to lose MORE of my access with my kids instead of arguing in my defense/favor. Now its been a month and I haven't had a return call from him regarding the Order or what to do now or next

Maybe this is more of a reflection of Len's assistants, but they are not great to deal with, there is limited communication and it basically makes the whole experience in dealing with Len's office rather bad.

I am happy with the service I've received at Thom Law. Len is organized and knows what he can and cannot pursue. I have no problem recommending him to my friends. We won our case with costs.

He knows nothing of laws that he should know of, and based pertinent decisions on them which clearly was NOT representing ME. I am not the only one that has complaints but clearly a 10 year divorce and after a kangeroo court, there has been 6 months of no contact shows his true colors of lack of moral, ethics, and true lack of representation. I shake my head at the legal system that 10 years for a divorce, a judge and 2 lawyers don't know the binding rules for subrogated arrears, and knowingly being forced to give it all away after Thom Had just promised me complete opposite.He spends more time out of the country than in, and though he might have 'earned' the income he has grown accustomed to, the way I have been treated it certainly wasn't not ethically!

He sure talks that he has all the knowledge in the world, he thinks so highly of himself. Reality is that he does not communicate with you at all. His staff is unhelpfull and ignorant. He had one staff member that did all the work and got fed up and quit with his attitude. Leaving my case a complete mess with wasting thousands of my dollars at a dead end. If you want to hire a lawyer that is so full of himself with no results, this is your guy. P.S. Since I hired a new lawyer after no results a year and a half later, things are getting done!
