Mr. Malanga and his staff did not give up on my case. Other lawyers said we didn't have a case. This firm got our HOA a very good settlement when others said they could not.

They never sent me my money from the settlement that began in 2016 and they won't return calls. I caught Gerald on the phone once, he said he'd call me back in 5 minutes and never did. I called several times after that for a month straight, left messages every time and he never called back. I finally caught him on the phone again 5 weeks ago and he said he would send the check. No surprise that I did not receive the check and he won't return my calls. I'm going to file a complaint with the Bar Association to see if that helps but I don't think I'll ever see the money they owe me.

I also live in the Lincoln Crossing Community in Lincoln Ca and it is clear this firm basically sued KB Homes, won, and kept the money for themselves. We were promised at least $2,000 for each homeowner. This process started in early 2016. We have not received a dime. Once they received the settlement from KB Homes they completely stopped sending the homeowners any letters. Again, they kept the money for themselves and are hoping we just go away and forget about it.

Gerald and his firm did a great job in helping our HOA with our construction defects. From the start, his firm provided a free consultation which led into a successful claim against the developer. We ended up getting a settlement that exceeded our expectations, our HOA is extremely thankful and would recommend his firm to anyone.

This lawyer handled a case in our neighborhood for defective home building. It was settled and we all received a settlement payment. The case took a while longer than I had hoped, but that is what insurance companies will do to delay the case.

Gerald Malanga was my attorney in litigation against my builder. My home had several issues that needed to be addressed and were too costly to handle out of pocket. Mr. Malanga secured a very generous settlement which allowed me to make repairs. I found that he and all the members of his firm were very responsive to my needs and accomplished all I had hoped for. I recommend Mr. Malanga without reservation.

Mr. Malanga claims that he sent me my settlement check two times, but both times I have NOT received it!!! I have never had any problems with NOT receiving my mail, until now when he claims that the settlement check has been issued. Did he spend the money that is supposed to be in the holding account?!?!? What other reason is he not sending me my check?!?!??!?! He confirmed with me my address both times that he mailed the check and it was correct. I have also spoken to a few of my neighbors and they are also getting the run around with the check being in the mail or it being sent to the wrong address. Something is definitely suspicious with this law firm. I would not doubt if we were supposed to receive more money then what they are actually giving us. The lawsuit name is Mora -V- West River Park LLC. A few of my neighbors did receive their settlement over three weeks ago after they were also given the run around. Till this day, I still have NOT received my settlement check!!

This attorney has supposedly been representing me for the last several years in a builder litigation/class action lawsuit. I have not heard anything in over a year and have spent the last several months trying to contact with no return phone call or email. His assistant does not know anything and said he would have attorney call me next day (twice now). I have yet to receive a call. Very, very disappointing. I would definitely not recommend. Find someone who will keep you updated at least once every couple months and who will return your phone calls.
