Attorney Moses Williams misled us and provided inappropriate or incompetent consultation on a property foreclosure case in 2007. As a consequence, my wife and I were led to a major legal and financial lost in 2011. Next, Attorney Williams refused in 2011 to return nearly $2,500.00 of our $3,000.00 legal retainer, after we cancelled his service. Another example of poor consultation, the retainer lost was due to our not being properly informed by "our attorney", who we trusted - and should have trusted - implicitly. We were not properly advised that the retainer was "non-refundable." The retainer contract contained "one inconspicuous reference" to the retainer as non-refundable. The attorney's letter that accompanied the contract did not point to the non-refundable feature; nor did the attorney make any effort orally to make us aware of the irredeemable retainer. Summarily, we were completely dissatisfied with the services of Attorney Moses Williams.
