I worked with her on an Emergency Motion. She disappeared two weeks before our court date on holiday and hid it from me. She had her junior lawyer of one year experience do my entire motion. She arrived the day before court and the next day she was sick with a cold in court and did not know any of the materials. I asked her where is her junior lawyer that put the brief together and she said he was busy. She had not read anything and was destroyed by my ex's lawyer. I lost and had to pay enormous costs to her at about 18 grand plus my ex's bills. If she was using a junior lawyer then why was my bill was so high. Terrible Lawyer and a big scam. Stay away.

Devorah was a source of strength and support for me in a very difficult divorce. She did not want to drag things on and assured me if settlement. That said, she did not encourage me to settle for less than I deserved--and she was right. My case ended up in court and the judge reprimanded my ex and his lawyer, supported our position and granted me a divorce that day. I have feferred her to a friend who also got results. I TOTALLY agree that her assistant is HORRIBLE and interferes with communication, is rude and completely inhelpful. I would totally recommend her.

Deborah is perhaps the second worst lawyer on the planet. She represented me and lost every single court appearance. She was sloppy, unprepared, and unprofessional. She would vanish for weeks, and then send me outrageous bills laden with her billings and those of her cronies. It got to the point where I was drafting all her communications and yet she still couldn't put them on her letterhead for days and days. She dragged things on for years and didn't even do basic tasks, like schedule questioning. Deborah works at Niman Gelgoot Associates, which is a firm that not only shifted me among 6 different lawyers at their firm, but did a bait-and-switch for Harold Niman, and he is why I chose this firm in the first place. They accept far too much work and flub it all. So regardless whether she is at all competent, she is scattered among too many things to be competent in any. Their firm approach is to drag everything on for years so if you end up with Deborah, be prepared.

Deb was a great support and effective advocate in my very ugly divorce. Have sent others to her who had a similar experience. Her assistant at the time was rude and ineffective and blocked our communication. She may actually be the problem folks are referring to. Deb assured me of my position and the outcome was in my favour. Felt her personl interest in my well being.

I wish I had seen the reviews before working with DM. Be prepared to self represent, she does as little as possible to get by and over bills for her time. Her lack of knowledge of my case caused me significant expense and lead to delayed progression of my case. She is rude and had no value for me as a client. I had to constantly chase for responses and advice. I'm was always in a state of distress based of the limited support and representation I received.

This Lawyer delayed an entire proceeding by failing to respond to correspondence for months at a time and was RUDE in her correspondence STAY AWAY! She isn't worth a quarter of what she charges. Would be better off hiring a monkey.

My experience was the complete opposite of the previous postings. Debbie was not only responsive to me and sensitive to my priorities, she always encouraged trying to resolve the issues in my case in a cost efficient and amicable manner. Having said that, when my husband and his lawyer were taking unreasonable positions, Debbie was ready, willing and extremely able at making sure my interests were protected. I think she's a fabulous advocate.

Knowledgeable, reasonable. Was very happy with her work. I went through 2 other lawyers before Deborah was able to resolve all of the outstanding issues. I won each time. She was excellent and articulate in front of a judge.
