It has been such a pleasure working with Lorna and her team (her assistant Lindsey and her law clerk Charlotte). Lorna communicated with me at every stage, ran through risk/benefit analysis with me at every stage, and talked to me about "picking my battles". As a result I was awarded significant costs at trial because I made great Offers to Settle along the way, and resolved the issues that could be resolved. I would highly recommend Lorna and her team. I read the negative reviews below and they seem to be from spouses on the OTHER side of Lorna. That is the highest compliment!

Lorena is obviously writing her own reviews. She is the nasties and most unethical lawyer- doesn't look out for the well-being of both parties and their kids. Unless you want to be terrorized and deal with someone with no compassion and basic sense, stay away. She will drain you financially, draw out proceedings in games, collude behind clients' backs, and try to influence court proceedings.

She was very helpful in getting me through a difficult process during a sensitive time. She was very organized and professional, she clearly put in a lot of time and effort in my matter. Her work left me satisfied and I would recommend her as an advocate on any family law matters.

I had a very positive experience with Lorna. I interviewed 2 lawyers before meeting with Lorna. The listening skills she exhibited in the initial consultation were constant throughout my file. What I really liked about Lorna was her ability to take a deep breath (actually also forcing me to take a deep breath!)before making any decisions. She checked in with me at each step, and she weighed the pros and cons of each decision with me. I felt like I was in control but I had a coach, which I really liked. The quality of her drafting was superior, and she was really careful about having me review any document before it went out. My matter settled without having to go to Court. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Lorna to any friends or colleagues!
