We hired him to represent my stepson on a DWI. We were scared and did not know what to expect because we had never gone to court before but he explained everything. He did a really good job and got the case thrown out at a hearing in front of the judge. I would hire him again.

This guy works on a low price/high volume basis. Unless your case is cut and dry and you need a lawyer just for the formalities, you will want to try someone else. Unless you're a high roller client, you'll get no legal work out of him. You're paying for his schmoozing ability and all his connections with the good old boys in the Johnston county courthouse. Communication was non existent. I had to do all the leg work to find out when I was supposed to be in court. He went to France for a two week vacation and didn't notify any of his clients. We all showed up in court that day to find out that we had to reschedule because he wasn't available. He or his office never notified anyone. I could go on forever, but there's no space here. I wish he had charged me 3x as much and was just twice the lawyer and things would have turned out very differently. Stay away from this guy and for that matter, Johnston county in general. Both were bad news.
