Cindy Vova finalized our readoption of our internationally adopted child. Cindy was professional, knowledgeable and kind. She made the process straight forward and completed it in a timely way. She is so friendly that she made my daughter feel at ease. My family loved working with her.

Cindy is the most unethical person I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. She only cares about lining her own pocket. She fought against any support for my child during the year + litigation (that she dragged out with delays and ridiculous requests) but aggressively pursued payments for herself. she cashed the $16K check she was awarded to take divorce to trial and then promptly quit the day the check cleared the account. After an agreement was reached during mediation, she waited 3 months and came back and wanted an increase of 40% over what was originally agreed upon. She was only interested in dragging this out, what should have been a simple divorce between two individuals that are W2 employees took over a year and cost over $50,000 to simply split a 401K. She played the "alimony" card to milk the situation and it backfired. I called her bluff and decided to go to trial, that's when she quit....Avoid her like the plague!

Please whatever you do, do not retain Cindy as your lawyer. She is alll about money, period. She does not care about your case, charges you for anything and everything, and the results are nominal compared to other attorneys. She will drop you in a heart beat as her attorney if she feels you won't keep replenishing the retainer fee. Trust me, this was my first and last divorce and she could care less about you. I wish someone would have told me about her. Also, her hourly fees are more than other attorneys. Shop around and you will see. Hopefully you will take head to this review because if not, let me know how much you spent afterwards. She will write a 49 page motion for something that takes 3 pages just to milk the money. She also likes to try and keep you on the phone so she can charge you. Please be aware!

Cindy Vova was kind and caring, and also straightforward with me during my custody case. She didn't make promises she couldn't keep and always kept me informed. Her paralegal kept me up to date at all times. She also tries to get parties to resolve matters so they can save money and try to get along. I hope you don't ever have to go through a custody fight, but if you do you want Cindy Vova on your side.

I would highly Recommend Cindy Vova for any of your Family Law needs.
She is fair, very thorough, highly professional and truly has her client’s interest at heart.
Cindy is able to present situations from a variety of angles, including
worse case scenarios and by addressing those issues upfront and making her clients aware, she is possibly able to divert some not so good situations from getting out of control. Cindy takes the time to do it right the first time.

From the first meeting I felt I hired the right person for my divorce. I came in stressed and left relieved. Not only did Cindy and her paralegal keep me up to date on everything, she always timely answered my emails and returned my calls. And she really cared about my children and how the divorce affected them. Cindy was strong and compassionate at the same time. At the end of the case my husband said he wished he'd hired her.
