I am shocked to read the last 2 reviews. I have used Laura for my contested custody case. She won my trial. I got great results and excellent, I mean excellent customer service. Her staff is always available and Laura provided me with a direct number for her. I read the last comment about writing out questions 5 hours before trial. Most seasoned attorneys don't write out trial questions. My dad is a lawyer and said only inexperienced attorneys or attorneys with nervous clients will pre plan questions. I have recommended her to three of my friends and they loved her. I don't usually write reviews but after reading what was written on this page I had to chime in. Laura is great. I think the other two just didn't have great cases.

Ms. Gillis was not prepared and made a lot of promises in my child custody case that she did not follow through with. I felt as if she was not on my side. I ended be worse off than when I started this whole ordeal and she just collected her fee with little effort in my case.

This was my divorce attorney. I had nothing but issues with her. She never returned calls in a timely fashion. Waited to the last min to complete work. Very disorganized, lost my evidence for trial and waited to last 5 hours before trial to write questions. I should of won the case but list due to her lack of skill and organization. As soon as trial was over she disappeared and did not get my ex to pay half of the assets he stole from Acct. She also argues with judge and got him angry towards case.
