A nightmare of a lawyer -- cold, unprofessional and pads her billings. Her law clerk knew more about the law than she did. She would show up to court unprepared and would ask the judge for periodic breaks so she could read the notes her assistant prepared for her. An expensive totally disaster!! Stay far, far away from this one

I fought against lawyers working for this lady and her firm. I heard many things about her firm which I would not mention here (due to lack of proof) but it was my experience that her lawyers can't read financial statements or read them and ignore the facts (to create future confrontation and charge the clients for such losing confrontations). They also tend to create extra work and letters to pad their files. All you have to do is to read my feedback on Valda Blenman, one of her lawyers to get more info. Anyone wants the proof, just simply ask. By writing this feedback, I am trying to get this firm to stop these bad practices and to be more direct in trying to slove their clients issues.

During this difficult time of COVID-19 if any potential candidates that are thinking about hiring Lorraine Bortolussi and/or her associates, after things go back to normal, you are making a giant mistake. She is there to ripe you off. Horrible litigator. promises after promises. Ridiculous and pathetic. Well it's still up to you. You will suffer through her if you choose her as your lawyer. It's a plain truth. Good luck.

This Lawyer sets herself up as Champion of the Underdog, particularly, family law victims who have been unfortunate in relationship. But watch out...if you work with this laywer, you might get abused twice over! At the end of the day, she focuses most of her attention on getting the lion's share of settlement money on files. If you want an ethical lawyer, you might want to look elsewhere.

A true shark ! Very Expensive and wanted to change her many times but i stuck with it and got the result i wanted plus more ! Thanks to Lorraine and her team !! Plus i got all my legal fees as well as my life back ... vacation time for me : YD

Not happy at all with this lawyer. Spent much money with zero resolution. Took advantage of a sitution in which I needed guidence and direction.
