I can’t say enough positive things about Derek and Anne. When my father passed away and I found myself written out of the will and his lawyer made to be the executor due to his ongoing struggle with dementia; I felt defeated and deeply depressed. After consulting with Derek he reassured me that I have a very good case and went above and beyond to inform me about everything involved with contesting a will and made sure I was both mentally and financially able to proceed. After a lot of thought I decided it was not in my best interest to proceed as the mental stress for me would have been too much for me and Anne and Derek understood as well as agreed. It really showed me they care about their clients and what’s in their best interest. Not only are they exceptional estate litigators with a track record to prove it but they actually care about you and what you’re going through.

Derek took over from a previous lawyer who was prolonging the case. Derek looked at my case from the beginning and advised me,got me through mediation

Derek and his team have been phenomenal! We found ourselves and the rest of our siblings left out of my moms will and POA. Devastating. And after 3 years or litigation and BS,the truth came out, we also had an excellent judge, and we finally found ourselves on the winning side!! There is still some work to be done, but we could not be more pleased with our decision to hire Derek. He has not let us down once. He has been very open with communication and patient explaining the process. He is kind and compassionate and just the BEST! Thanks Derek and your whole amazing team!!

Derek is an amazing lawyer. We have been in an emotionally draining lawsuit for 3 5 years with an aggressive, manipulative relative and Derek has been with us through it all. He is knowledgable, patient, thorough, incredibly smart and compassionate. We couldn't have made it through the last several years without him. We had a successful outcome but aren't quite done yet. I would recommend him 100 times over. It's a shame families can be so dysfunctional. Thank you Derek and team!!
