HAVING A PROBLEM GETTING MY BROTHER AND SISTER BIRTH CERTIFICATE. FOR A LEGAL MATTER IN PUERTO RICO. I GOT IN TOUCH WITH JEFF WEINSTIN. HE TOLD ME TO SEND HIM $200 AND $25 FOR EACH CERTIFICATE. AND IN THREE DAYS I WILL HAVE THEM OR I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK IN FULL. HE HAS NOT PROVIDED THE SERVICE.//// HE ROB ME FOR MY MONEY ////.

I wish I had been able to read a review of him before I got entangled. contacted the offices of Jeffrey Weinstein in June of 2010. I gave him the requested documents. I met with him once and paid him 1,500 to start bankruptcy proceedings. As far as I could tell he just pulled something off the internet and that was the only work he did. Over the course of the next year he did not respond to email, faxes or phone calls. Eventually I asked for my money back and he only offered 500 dollars.
His secretary, Thatiana is competent and fairly responsive. But that doesn't account for much when your attorney doesn't do anything and never responds.
I come from a family of attorneys and know that what he did was singularly wrong.
HE IS A SHISTER!

Mr. Weinstein took $5000.00 non-refundable retainer for "Adverse Possession" which he claimed was a "classic text book case". As time progressed it became a purchase agreement. That resulted in a 4 year long engagement of mortgage loans with 2 different banks that resulted in my anteing up over $700.00 and because of inactivity on Mr. Weinstein's part - the loan applications expired and that money was lost also. When I called to see what progress was being made, I started to hear repetitious stories. I registered a complaint with the Supreme Court. They admonished him for misconduct in acquiring a non-refundable fee, but that does nothing to restore what he is responsible for taking from me.
