Ms. Wood drew up trust documents for a blind, 97 year old man and did not take time to verify w/the trustee that the documents were correct as he had requested and that he understood what he was signing. After being paid and dismissed, she asked for another $500 to have a 2nd attorney file the documents at the court house. When the error was discovered, the trustee had died and the deceased's intended person had been acting as trustee for almost 2 yrs. Ms. Woods is now representing the person whose name was placed on the documents in error. What should have been a simple trust, containing nothing but a homestead, has now pitted two brothers against the four other siblings. After being contacted by the brother mistakenly named as trustee, she took it upon herself to offer her services, contact a CPA, and realtor, and after a 4 hour consult with the out-of-state named trustee became his attorney. Woods is unprofessional/untruthful and incompetent. Trust her at your own peril.
