Do not get this lawyer Cruickshank. I see that in 2013 he was suspended for 45 days, which does not surprise me. I will not get into the details of my case. Suffice to say he was terrible . Sometimes he did not get back to me for up to six months at a time or even a year. It was an uphill battle the whole time. I regret now I did not find a new lawyer after three or four years. It took over 10 years for me to have a very poor settlement... he was unprepared and had made mistakes calculating the settlement. I was very vulnerable at the time and dealing with Laird Cruickshank and his staff caused me a lot of stress and anxiety.

Laird Cruickshank is not only a great lawyer but a very caring person. He took care of me and my son from day one. I owe him a huge debt of gratitude. Also I have referred him to a few of my friends in need of an honest lawyer and they were all very happy with his services!

Laird was awesome with me on my case - he was always prepared and was proactively reaching out to all parties involved. He soothed my concerns while waiting for court and made me feel like he had it all under control. He was great about explaining all details of the case and all potential outcomes. He was very good at returning phone calls and emails on time and even worked through his Xmas holidays to assist me. On the day of court he was fully prepared and stuck by my side the entire time when most lawyers would have gone home. He did a great job and I couldn't ask for better service. He really seemed to enjoy his work and enjoyed learning about his clients. I would 100% recommend him to close family and friends.

Laird is a good lawyer and did great work in my personal injury case. I agree he's not good at returning calls quickly but he or his assistant do respond and are informative and he did a great job for me.

Do not use this Laywer. Laird Cruikshank does not take the time to look after you, never returns phone calls and can't even handle a simple divorce where there is no property to divide for people that have been seperated for 13 year. He is quick to take your money, then blows you off. Do yourself a favor and hire a real lawyer.

Always late, doesn't remember anything about your case. Ill prepared, meek and timid in the courtroom. Overcharges and charges for services not rendered. Does not return phone calls or emails. Poor communication with client. Rambles incoherently.
