My experience with Stephen Shusterman has been amazing. Being out of state I was very concerned about how communication would go. I have felt nothing short of top priority by Stephen and his team. The amount of support and professionalism demonstrated has proven to be worth every penny. His invaluable knowledge of the court system along side his integrity have been beyond reassuring. Allison and Stephen have given me hope in the fight of my life; not to be confused with telling me what I want to hear. I am grateful they were willing to tell me the facts and hard truths most Attorney's would sugar coat. Stephen and his dedicated staff have guided me every step of the way while offering an insight to the realities of our court system. Providing me great confidence along with comfort through a difficult time. I know that they have done everything in their power to fight with me to the end. Don't trust him....will take your and money and do nothing...and asked for more money...had all the info he needed to find my ex was cheating and so forth and did nothing..and lied to the court a week before my divoice and was removed from my case and left me to defend myself

Mr. Schusterman just finished handling my divorce and custody case. I decided to post a review because words cannot express how grateful I am to him and his firm. I agree with every other rating about his cost. Yes it is higher than others, but I can honestly say it is worth every penny. Mr. Schusterman is a man of utmost integrity. He is honest and NEVER gave me any false hope or expectation of the outcome. He was straightforward even though sometimes it wasn't what I wanted to hear, it was what I NEEDED to hear. I felt like he and his staff walked with me through every step of my divorce and my horrible custody battle. Despite my husband being hateful and revengeful through this process, Mr. Schusterman maintained strong moral principles (and made sure I did so as well). I am 100% confident that I would not have obtained the outcome I received if it wasn't for Mr. Schusterman and his firm.

My wife and I wanted to comment on the Schusterman Law Firm and Steve Schusterman in particular. All we can say is that we found him to be a person of great integrity. We believe that it is this high level of integrity that makes him stand apart from others of his profession. We can speak of this by personal experience. We had used another attorney, but had to hire Steve and his firm due to the other attorney's ignorance and sheer neglect. We did pay a large sum upfront to both attorneys, but we received the legal skills that our case needed with Steve and his staff. Hopefully we will not need an attorney in the future but my wife and I are lifetime fans and clients of the Schusterman Law Firm.

Lied to us, stole our money when he knew the outcome was going to be unsuccessful due to him not caring......He was very sneaky and smart...he knew how to get our money up front and then he just did not do the job he promised......It was just horrible the way he didn't handle our case at all...no work done at all in our behalf....I don't know who the other people are that gave him great reviews...but as for us, we lost $6,000.00 and didn't gain anything...If we were grading him he would get a F-...and did I mention he has no integrity at all?

Stephen Schusterman is an amazing attorney!! He represented and fought for me, and also made me feel like I was his top priority. He is caring,and true to his word. He won my case, but he made no guarantees and was up front and very informative of what to expect. And promised me that he would fight for me no matter what until justice was acheived, and fight he did! Not to mention his sister/paralegal Allison was there by my side the entire time! After 30 years I was faced with getting a divorce. Not something I was expecting but Stephen and his staff helped me through every step. We had mediation and Stephen helped me to reach a settlement that gives me the ability to not only start over but start over with validation, dignity, and a feeling of empowerment over what happens in my life. I cannot recommend Stephen and his staff enough. In a time of emotional upheaval, when your logic is out the window, Stephen will bring everything into proper perspective and help you through. He truly helped in a time of great need and although you may say I was paying him; it truly felt more like a friend who really cared about me and my feelings and getting what I needed.

Stephen Schusterman has not been the first attorney that I have worked with - and I have had experiences with very good attorneys in the past while residing in a different state. I met with many lawyers for my divorce in an effort to find the right lawyer for me. I met with Mr. Schusterman and immediately knew he was the right lawyer for me. He was compassionate, understanding and gave me realistic expectations. He quoted me a retainer that I could not afford and wound up hiring someone else. Eight months later and 3500 poorer, as well as getting no alimony and a bunch of debt I went back to Schusterman. I borrowed money from everyone and hired him. A GREAT DECISION! He over delivered for me. I now receive alimony, more child support bc my ex lied about his income and less debt. He won me legal fees. My ex conceded to custody I could not be more thankful for his work and dedication. He is more expensive but definitely worth the extra money. He had a no bull approach. He doesn't tolerate anything. Mr. Schusterman came highly recommended to me for a legal issue involving my business. I was told he was a "shark". I wanted this type of lawyer however I was a little intimated as to what to expect when I met him. During my initial consultation, I was genuinely surprised at how kind and compassionate he was. He made me feel at ease. At our first court hearing, he was phenomenal. He completely over-powered opposing counsel and fought for me and everything I wanted out of the case. He is like two different people: a compassionate knowledgeable attorney to his clients and an absolute shark to opposing counsel and very intimidating . It is nice to work with someone like this. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I did not know what to expect when I went for my initial consultation, but I was quite surprised at how I was so comfortable. Steve and his staff put my mind at ease. My family and I trust no one else to handle our legal issues. Mr. Schusterman handled my husband's custody battle with his ex-wife (and I mean battle).He was forthcoming regarding any problems and extremely sensitive because these are someone's children.Including that experience,we have had nothing but great experiences whether it was personal(children/custody) or business. If you need someone who is going to fight for you like it were his own battle...this is your man.

I used Mr. Schusterman for legal services. I did "shop" around for attorneys. I am a business owner here in Rock Hill and know many people. I did choose to consult with him after a dozen or so people's recommendation. I felt like I should ask him during my initial consultation regarding some negative feedback I came across on this site. He did explain that he has many clients and some are never happy with the outcome of their particular case. He stated some clients have unrealistic expectations or results. I found it to be a reasonable explanation. I did retain him and he told me of a wide spectrum of possibilities in regards to the outcome. I was advised of the best scenario versus the worst. I personally ended up with a more favorable ruling than I originally expected. He never once "sugarcoated" anything. He was a straight shooter with me as I am in my business. I do appreciate those types of quality in a person regardless of the price. Once again, thank you and God Bless.

I feel very blessed to have found Steve to represent me in my divorce. Steve came highly recommended to me through a friend. He was not only my attorney, but the trusted friend I needed to help and guide me through this time. Not knowing anything about divorce, he guided me brilliantly and safely through the case, always putting my needs first. I have been using Steve for nearly 10 years and have always had a VERY positive experience. I do agree that he is very expensive, however, I have never been dissatisfied with the results and he has always made me feel like I am the only client in his law firm. I am absolutely shocked by the rating of 3/11. Steve, like any other attorney, does have faults, however, he is NOT intimidated by anyone in court. He commands the courtroom. He stands by his clients and gets them what they want. He does not just settle to close a case. As for being prepared, I have never experienced a situation where he went to court unprepared or did not know the facts of the case. I question the rating of 3/11 to such a degree that I wonder if it has been posted by an opposing party who had it handed to them because someone could not be so off base about an individual. If you listen to Steve and follow his instructions, you will be surprised at how he turns the law to be on your side!

I don't know what happened to the guy in the last review but my experience was the opposite. He shredded the other attorney and left him stuttering in court. Best attorney I have seen. Yes he was expensive. I payed 5000 for what at most took him 5 hours of work. We did pay a flat fee though. It could have took a lot longer and more hours on his part so that's why we paid flat fee. I feel that I way over paid but he got the result we wanted quickly and it was nice to win so easily. Diffinatly a shrewd cut throat kind of lawyer. If you make a bad move he will pretty much tell you that your an idiot. So if you have an ego don't hire him. If you want to swallow your pride and win he is the lawyer for you.

Steve is a smart attorney who really knows the law. He is tough and tolerates no bs, the kind of lawyer you want if you want to win. His skills in court, questioning and commitment to his client is unlike any other attorney we met over the years. He is expensive, but you get what you pay for when it comes to lawyers. His staff is great especially is paralegal Mandy. If you want to win and want a lawyer who will fight for you... you can't to better than Steve Schusterman.

He let the other attorney lead because he was intimidated by the other attorney's relatives and credentials. He asked enormous fees but did not have the work ethic nor the results to back it up. He was a coward in court and could not think on his feet nor was he prepared. I had to remind him of details he should have remembered. He did not submit supporting documentation to the courthouse. He also was dishonest to me. He was an appalling attorney.
