Said he would't charge me for the initial interview... then he deducted it from the retainer anyway. Talks slow and repeats everythimg you say causing the billable hours to rack up. Does not follow instructions. Dropped him as a lawyer pretty quick. Don't waste your time or money on Victor.

Hired him to resolve an employment claim and it was great. Always explained things, never judged, very kind and effective. Would recommend.

Doesn't listen to clients. Won't take ownership for his mistakes. Shows 0 interest especially in legal aid cases.

My experience of Victor's work on legal matters I had gone to see him about was sloppy. He overlooked important facts and failed to alert me on the implications of certain items that had been described in ways that would create difficulties. I was kept waiting beyond the scheduled time of appointments mutually agreed upon at every appointment.

Please take my word for it. DO NOT GO TO THIS LAWYER. I can't give out specifics because it would give away who I am, but basically if he says the base fee is 1000 dollars, it will end up being 2500. He tries to trick you into thinking he did extra work when actually he does nothing at all. Also, he was super late to our meetings. Very disrespectful. You literally need to hound him to get anything done.

Took my money. Wasted my time with the second meeting to discuss what we already discussed in the first meeting. Showed a bad knowledge of labour law. Did nothing. Worst lawyer I have ever met!

bad lawyer. Failed to file countersuit and therefore lost my case 120,000.00. The man nickel dimes and spends the retainer before he does the work so he can go to Florida. He is not good. Stay away from this so called lawyer

I have known Victor for about 15 years. He has a good heart, good intentions, and is well versed in his chosen area of law. He is thorough, maybe that's why sometimes things take a bit longer. He is not the 'fast food drive thru lawyer'; but, then again, I don't want that. In his business, there's a lot of waiting for documents, information, court dates to open up, etc. I am happy that he was there for me, and helped me a lot.

I used Victor Olson for my divorce and child support about 6 years ago, It took him close to 2 years to get me my divorce and 11,000. Everytime i went for a meeting with him he seemed to fall asleep. I would never use him again!!

This lawyer is very unprofessional . It's been 5 weeks since court date and still have not heard what's going on. I called 5 times now , spoke to his assistant and left voicemails for him to call back. He did return a call once, but it was before 8 a.m. And I was at work. Two meeting with him, one which he spent alot of time on the phone with clients and one court appearance , has cozy me two thousand dollars already . Time to notify the law society and lodge a compliant .

Victor Olsen strategy is to convince you that you have a string case in the 1st meeting. Then he will use the stall tactics to prolongate the case as much as he can to drain as much blood from you. one he finds that you do not have any money left, he will leave your dead body and haunt for another customer. He charges more hours for every little thing and he charges $280/hr. so, he will be a bigger burden on you than whatever benefits you would get from the law suit. Try to avoid this lawyer

I switched to Victor because I was having problems with my last lawyer not doing anything or returning my calls/emails. Victor is by far worse than my previous lawyer. He has had my case for over 2 yrs and I have been trying to reach him for a year and half without any response back. I keep getting pushed off onto interns who have no information. I would not recommend anyone hire this man.
