Greedy and incompetent. After 3.5 years and thousands of dollars I am STILL not divorced. He says I owe an additional $23,000 but I cant even see how I am being billed. No custody issues and no property to be divided- dealing with this firm has been a nightmare.

Tia, with Steven Glaros & Associates, was invaluable in helping us through a difficult time. After we were in a car accident and suffered some injuries, we didn’t know how to proceed with getting the medical bills paid. We were dealing with body aches, doctors, medical bills, and the overwhelming emotions all at the same time. Tia was wonderful! She was so responsive, and we really felt that she had our best interests at heart. During meditation she battled on our behalf with the judge and insurance company and in the end she got us more money then we would have if we didn’t hire her. If you want a tough lawyer to represent you, Tia’s the lawyer for you.

I hired Mr. Steven Glaros in May 2017 to represent me at a Family Law court appearance. The DOR has made a number of recording errors. During this process, we agreed to recalculate arrears and submit it to the courts which would have ended the complaint. That never got done.
For months, I sent dozens of emails and made numerous phone calls to Mr. Glaros and never got a returned call from him. Typically, his paralegal would call or respond to an email and let me know she would pass on my request. At one point, I couldn’t even get a response from the paralegal and later found out she took a month off to study for the Bar while my case was being neglected.
Eventually, I was forced to file a complaint with the Florida Bar. This is February 2018 and I still have yet to see the recalculation of arrears.
I have now reopened my complaint with the Florida Bar. If time is of the essence and your case is important to you, don’t hire this attorney.

Steve is an amazing attorney. He got the injunctions and divorce processed quickly and was there for every step of the dependency. He saw through all of the legal mumbo jumbo and where Hillsboro has the largest amount of children in the system, moved my case like Lightning Speed. Everyone from the state said it was TURBO speed and no case has ever gone through so fast. I feel so confident that I have Steve Glaros on my side, especially when I am not guilty. He is there for you and makes sure you are not alone through any of this process.

I was in a car accident where this other driver made many mustakes and drove me off the road. Steven Glaros and his intern almost never contacted me with info, making me call them. Ten after 5 months of them telling me everything would be great, i get nothing, and lose the case, and all i get is a sorry, with no real explanation. Im sure they made some mistake and i am paying for it. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE, THEY DO NOT CARE

Steven Glaros is nothing but a con. He will take your money and charge you more then get off your case. I paid him 4k for a divorce a year ago nothing done but only a bill now for 12K. Staff was unprofessional. I will be turning him into the bar assocation. Will put in motions stop them charge you for them and reput same motions in. NEVER talks with you on the phone telling you what he is doing..Just all about the Money not about his clients.

Everything negative about this guy is true. Just asked for 25k more for a divorce with no assets. Not how you run but how fast you can run from him. Don't believe read all the reports then through your money away!!

Steven was incompetent and dropped the ball on filing paperwork with the courts and in performing the work needed in my case. He did not respond to emails in a timely manner, not did his office staff. Because if the high stress level during my divorce, I felt the need for an attorney that I could hand my case over to that would do the right thing, and he was definitely not the man for the job. I wound up having to do quite a but of research on my own and bring it to his attention. In addition, he was placating when answering my questions, saying things like, "Just don't worry about it. It will be taken care of," when clearly, I did need to worry.

I am not agree with the negative ratings. Steven is very good and honest lawyer. He is very knowledgeable and know what he is doing. He has the best staff and they are very good to follow up. They are very quick to file the documents and following up with us. One of the review says that they wants the clients to do the work, which I am not agree. I believe that if we can do our job and give them detailed information does not mean that they want us to do the job. Steven is very professional and very honest lawyer. I highly recommend him.

Greedy. He will increase his fees at will. Fails to return calls and when he does he has misscommunicated. I was told my case wasn't complicated but his lack of response meant I'm now spending more money to support my case. He has the tenacity of a house plant and realized I have to perform most of the work. I wish I seen these rating before selecting him.

Glaros is an incompetent and would sell his client for a dollar. He lacks focus and drive. Usually unprepared and extremely disorganized and incompetent. He has been under investigation for ethics by the Florida Bar. He forgets to file paperwork with the courts which is a disservice for his clients which is another compliant with the Florida Bar. If he last another 5 years before being disbarred would be anything short of a miracle.

Steve and his staff showed the utmost professionalism. They were diligent, compassionatate and extremely driven. I would recommend this firm to anybody.

I have to concur with the first raters opinion. This guy borders on incompetent and is completely driven by the financial aspects of what he can glean from his clients. His office has billed for the same aspects of case review three times and went so far as to bill for looking up phone numbers and addresses to submit subpeonas. I am seriously considering a referral to the Bar to inquire about his billing practices. Although it may be legal, it definitely borders on unethical. If you are even considering him, move further down the list.

I have to agree that the bad rating is quite a surprise and does not represent my knowledge and experience with Attorney Glaros. He has ethics and has always exhibited a caring and professional demeanor. He is also fair and takes his legal profession seriously. I highly recommend him as he is an expert in handling what is a very emotionally draining experience.

Wow, the guy below must be one of Mr. Glaros opposing attorney's. I found Mr. Glaros to be very knowledgable and he worked very hard on my case. He was very clear as to what to expect and I found him worth every dime I paid him. Divorce is a messy business and I'm so glad I had someone who knew what he was doing. I am writing this to help others avoid the pitfalls of hiring this man. His initial sympathetic demeanor is quickly replaced by a combination of incompetence, poor moral work ethic and pure greed, which guides his practice - not in your best interests, but in the interests of his wallet. I wish I had some references before I hired him. From start to finish the whole experience dealing with Steve Glaros has been a nightmare. He is not a good lawyer. He is dishonest, and he does not work to accomplish your goals as you lay them out. His office was mismanaged and staff was dropping the ball from the beginning. As soon as I paid my retainer, I regretted it, and was told it's non-refundable, so I thought I would stick out just the duration of that amount. Cut my losses. But unfortunately, I was trapped and my losses multiplied. Run, don't walk away from this so-called practitioner of the law.
