Ms. Dawson is a poor communicator, difficult to get a hold of and doesn’t follow-through without being chased down or reminded of things. She is very expensive and yet my case seemed unimportant to her. As someone mentioned earlier, she almost seems to favor the opposing client’s position as opposed to what is best for me and my family. I do not recommend her at all.

Wanda Dawson is one of the few people who are capable of handling abusers. She is sensible and pragmatic, and she will do what she can to ensure that children are protected--at least as much as they can be in this broken system. I recommend her whenever I get the chance.

Ms. Dawson seems to constantly be preoccupied. She has to be reminded constantly what she is doing on a file. There are many times that her client wondered who she was representing her client or the opposing client? She seems to favour the opposing client's position more than her own client. She also makes her clients feel intimidated and badly if they ask questions and gets annoyed if she is re-asked questions. She does not want to hear what her clients' concerns are instead tells them what their concerns should be. She takes forever to answer emails but has no problem firing out invoices at lightning speed for phone calls or emails read. She also is totally unorganized in mediation and when she tells her client day(s) before what she is going to say or ask for she totally doesn't follow through leaving her client bewildered and extremely let down and feeling like she doesn't have their back. She just constantly flips through file pages when asked questions from the opposing counsel.

Not sure what the other 2 folks had issues with but for me she was AWESOME. She listened, took the time to understand and provided options. The choice is yours to make.
