I hired him for my divorce, all he did is file the initial papers then did nothing else, my ex husband attorney ended up writing out all the paperwork because I couldn't get him to do it. I ended up getting totally screwed. I took the paperwork my ex husband attorney wrote out to have him look through it, he skimmed over it and said "it's fine" and signed it. He does not care about his clients or even look into your case. I had no experience with the court system up until then so I had no idea what to expect from an attorney, I wish I had known. It doesn't matter if your the man or woman in his office, he is equally incompetent for both!

He ended up costing me several thousands of dollars. I don't know if he is even still practicing, I hear he had some substance abuse problems... If he is still working, stay as far away from him as possible!!!

At the consultation appointment he was very nice and personable, seemed very compentent. After I paid him in full for the complete job he stopped calling me or working on my case. I was told that I had nothing to worry about & that I was not going to lose (I felt that way before but was worried because unlike the court system I do not see my children as a poker game or bargaining chips). After all was said and done he failed to turn in paperwork on time even after I hounded his paralegal every day to get something done on my case, I could not even get him to call me back to discuss it. He told opposing counsel things that I did not agree with and then lied to me about it when I confronted him. Basically the father paid for a better attorney then I did and the Judge ruled that because of my lawyers default in the case he would rule in the fathers favor. I spent most of my time doing Mr. Johnson's job and lost anyway.

Stu, is a joke i hired him because i was told he was a good attorney for fathers rights. Stay away from him men, he screwed me in court twice. My exwife's attny made him look like a school boy. He never returned my calls or messages. Showed up to court totally unprepaired. I have no doubt hiring him was a huge mistake. He is the kind of guy that is a mr. Know it all, he was doing stuff without my consent, hell he didnt even consult with me before agreeing to a motion i had objected to and it cost me over fifteen thousand dollars. He was basically doing whatever he wanted. He didn't seem to care that my ex was violating most of our divorce decree and had no ambition to help me enforce it despite a $ 2600 retainer. I got NOTHING for my money. One of the worst attorneys in Ogden, Ut stay away.
