Don porter family lawyer. His arrogance is a sharp contrast to his lack of knowledge and poor ethics. I hired don porter lawyer to help me with my divorce. He promised the world then at the last moment surrendered entirely to the dominant lawyer my ex had the wits to hire. Nobody can find the reason for his last day complete turn around and total surrender. It seems to me he was lying all along to build billable hours. A good example of don porters poor logic and arrogant belief in our stupidity is found in the ridiculous review he wrote for himself below. Really, don porter, 5 out of 5 in every category? Who is going to believe that perfect score given all the other reviews? … dummy

OK the good and the bad. He acted for me in a divorce that went to trial. He knocked a lot of money off his bill. The judge said I was well represented. HOWEVER in the access case that followed he quoted me a figure of $1500 and got extremely upset, belligerent and hostile towards me when it involved more work than he expected. He claimed that I had not hired him to do the work he had done, and manipulated the situation so that I discharged him -- presumably to cut his losses. He did stick to the figure quoted, but I was very dissatisfied and upset with the way he treated me and spoke to me.

Don Porter was my lawyer. I was very disappointed with his performance. Maybe others find he is adequate given simple tasks. I cannot recommend him , ideally you could convince your ex to hire Don Porter.
