If you like the adversarial approach then you'll like Caroline. She treats her opposing counsel and their clients with indifference, impatience, and arrogance, interrupting frequently and with hostility. This attitude was directed at me only a few times because I was paying her. ALOT. OMG. I'm sure she saw me as her cash cow. If you're looking for a drawn out caustic divorce and are prepared to give her half of everything, look no farther!

Paid her for a second opinion on a separation agreement. She passed me on to a junior, green lawyer (20k later and worse case scenario). She would not acknowledge or reply, even as a partner of the firm. Lawyers need to be accountable for bad customer service - especially at $800/hour!! Learned more from the opposition firm - Daunais Mckay.

Caroline Lee uses the "claim game" to line her pockets with more than her exorbitant fee. She will lie on sworn documents and lie in mediation, but if the document is found in the file she will admit it. If you care about your family and your future do not use this lawyer.

Dragged our Divorce case on for 7 years. This was an undisputed divorce in our regard but she did everything possible to make it drag on. They even completed paper work incorrectly and once it was wrong lacked the ability to correct it.

Caroline appeared very nervous during discovery, didn't understand self employment and did not check all of the facts she was given. She did not take the recommendations of a very high paid accountant, she recommended I hire, into account. In the end she relied almost entirely on tax returns (that turned out to be misreported) for her arguement. She was constantly telling me I was asking too much. In the end... it was way too little. DUH. The accountant and I tried to tell her that the write-offs did not apply. Sigh...The lady who recommended her to me is no longer working with her either. Worst part is I negotiated my own settlement. Nice lady. Not so good lawyer.
