We are absolutely disheartened with the treatment we have received by this lawyer so far. This lawyer was provided by legal Aid. Her level of commitment and compassion toward our case thus far has been almost no existent. She has stated several times how busy she is and how little time she has. We can’t even get a phone call with her. We will have 2 court appearances without her being present and having to navigate this on our own. When dealing with child protection and custody you want someone on your side who examples empathy and is invested in helping you navigate, what to most people, is a very scary, foreign and difficult proceedings. So far her sporadic contact has be deflating and we are more stressed out than when we had started without her. If you are considering this lawyer I would caution you to find someone with a heart for their job and not a superiority complex. I absolutely second the review in 2022.

Unbelievably demeaning and unkind. Made me feel ashamed and stupid about not knowing legal processes. Made me feel that my issue was insignificant and that I was wasting her time. I have never experienced such a complete lack of compassion. I could not speculate about her knowledge, tenacity, work quality or value because her cruel attitude was so repellent. I was left speechless by her humiliating attitude.

Christine is the type of person you'd hate to argue with, and you're going to want that. I understand the other reviews might paint her as being hard to work with, but I didn't find that to be the case. She was hard with me when I needed it, and had no issues putting me in my place when my own actions might put my case in jeopardy. Christine is the type of person you want to fight for you. She communicates when it's needed and generally just sticks to the facts. It's all efficient and when she shows up in court she really shows up. With her tenure, she obviously knows how to speak to the judge and work with other lawyers outside the court. You can't go wrong with Christine, you'll be happy you had her fighting for you.

I had a phone appt. with Christine as I had 1 simple question regarding a divorce in process. I believe she needed someone to project her anger on as the whole free hr. I had with her was wasted on her abuse toward me. I could barely get a word in edge wise with her as she constantly preached about law and claims shes been doing this for 20 yrs. blah blah blah! She basically called me to rant and rave and had no sense of compassion or empathy. Im on disability and obviously very vulnerable and this person seems to think she has the authority to be nasty and powerful. I would recommend to stay clear of this angry and frustrated individual for “any” advise about anything. Especially “sensitive” situations. She should “not” be practising anything that involves “helping” others as it seems to me she needs to help herself! The most brutal disrespect I have ever experienced from a so called professional. I have business lawyers in my family and thank God they arent like this person. 0/10 rat

Misinformed me about law in my first interaction. When I politely informed her I was uncomfortable and asked if I could leave, she informed me she was then asking me to leave. All this happened while claiming she wanted to help me but that I needed a lawyer. A very scary experience that left me wondering if she works for parents, or the ministry and further shook my trust in a terribly broken system.

Advised me wrong on court procedures twice, advised me with the WRONG case information in mind, neglected to inform me of court dates, and then 5 business days before court, dropped my case because I told her it was important she keep me informed. May have completely messed up my case. Will be filing a formal complaint. Dont waste your time with this one, she is playing a numbers game and uses 'emergencies' as her excuse. The only reason she has emergencies is because she has overloaded herself with cases, so she does a poor job at preparing. Also charged 6 hours for all the wrong advice she gave!
