I knew after I hired her this relantionship was going to last long. Her office in Joilet had no copier or fax either time I was there. SHe an barely turn on a computer-my daughter had to help her with her printer at her Chicago office. She doesnt work by email and prefers snailmail.The day before court she never returned and of my calls- I really thought something had happened to her. She aled me at 7:15AM the day of court to make arragnements for me to take her to Joilet CH. SHe was unprepared and the judge continued are cases 3 times that day to get the right paperwork processed. The judge finally got mad and told her not to come back to his court until she is prepared. I was very embarrassed. That day I fired her. Both my new lawyer and myself have requested a final bill and the balance of my retainer returned, it is 28 days since that day and still no refund. The good news, as I was in court I was watching another atty that was prepared for all 15 of her cases, I hired her.

This was a horrible lawyer. She normally works in Chicago but took a case in Joliet. She claims to have no good Email or fax to get to her and is hard to get hold of. When in court, she had to be told twice to be quiet because her voice was carrying into the courtrooms. She also brought up her personal 10 pm childhood bed time to combat our 8pm bed time for our children not knowing our situation and the fact that the kids get up at 5am for school. Another lawyer had to finish writing a visitation order because she kept stuttering and couldn't focus long enough to complete the order. This lawyer did not even show up for the last status hearing! I would not recomend this lawyer to anyone!
