Watched him cross-examine a custody expert.....about 30 minutes into it, the expert realized that he was in trouble. Three hours later and after Nunn started pulling custody books and folders out of his briefcase, the expert all but said "no mas". It was almost like watching a TV show lawyer.

Unethical and improper. The use or attempt of use that he was an assistant prosecutor and now a municipal prosecutor is a favorite of his. Listen to only portions of what is told to him then suggested things that were not approved or spoken about with is client. He thins he is too big for his britches ! I would not recommend this poor attorney. I could have done better or same just going in and speaking with the judge myself.

Along with Brian Digiacomo, Meg Rodriguez and Kelly Lavery, Mattheu is one of the best attorneys at the Morris Prosecutor's Office. He actually cares about the victims of crimes and how cases impact the families. He also has impressive credentials. I hope that if you have to deal with the prosecutors office you end up with him.

Saw him deliver opening in a attempted murder case. Case was probably over at that point. Although, not sure how hard it was--the defendant left the place, grabbed a knife, returned and stabbed someone.
